安徽国防科技职业学院是安徽省人民政府举办、安徽省发展和改革委员会和中共安徽省委军民融合发展委员会办公室主管的全日制公办高等职业院校。学校始建于1974年，前身是安徽省大江机械工业学校。1997年更名为安徽省国防科技工业学校，2003年独立升格为高等职业院校。办学50年来，实现了独立升格高职、荣膺全省人才培养工作评估优秀院校、安徽省首批(A档)地方技能型高水平大学、联合举办全日制专升本本科教育、获批安徽省双高计划建设院校以及安徽省双特色培育学校等重大历史性跨越。

Anhui Vocational College of National Defense Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the People's Government of Anhui Province and administered by the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Office of the Military-Civil Integration Development Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee. Founded in 1974, its predecessor was Anhui Dajiang Machinery Industry School. It was renamed Anhui Institute of National Defense Science and Technology Industry in 1997 and upgraded to a higher vocational college independently in 2003. Over the past 50 years of running the school, it has achieved major historical leaps such as upgrading to a higher vocational college independently, being awarded an excellent college in the provincial talent training evaluation, becoming the first batch (Grade A) local skill-based high-level university in Anhui Province, jointly offering full-time undergraduate education for junior college students, being approved as a construction college of Anhui Province's Double-High Plan, and being a double-feature cultivation school in Anhui Province.

学校是全国高职院校学生发展指数百强校、全国高职创新人才暨学科竞赛百强院校、全国国防教育特色学校、教育部现代学徒制试点学校等。建有机械技术学院、电气技术学院等8个教学院部，开设专业30多个，形成以工为主、工经管协调发展的专业体系，其中国家级骨干专业3个，在校生10000余人。现有教授和副教授近百人，省级模范教师、优秀教师等20多人，省级教学团队12个，中级及以上职称中双师型教师达80%以上。

The college is among the top 100 national vocational colleges in student development index, top 100 national vocational colleges in innovative talents and discipline competitions, a national defense education characteristic school, and a pilot school of modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education. It has 8 teaching colleges and departments including the School of Mechanical Technology and the School of Electrical Technology, offering more than 30 majors, forming a professional system dominated by engineering and coordinated development of engineering, economics and management, including 3 national key majors and more than 10,000 students. There are nearly 100 professors and associate professors, more than 20 provincial model teachers and excellent teachers, 12 provincial teaching teams, and more than 80% of teachers with intermediate or above titles are double-qualified teachers.

学校建有校内实验实训室120多个，其中国家级实训基地4个，省级示范实训中心和校企合作实践教育基地16个，生均教学仪器设备值达1万多元。坚持走产教融合、校企合作办学之路，与150多家省内外知名企业签订战略合作协议，在校园内建有军工魂主题雕塑、国防教育体验馆、坦克、雷达等大型军械实物展，彰显国防军工人才培养特色。

The college has more than 120 on-campus experimental training rooms, including 4 national-level training bases, 16 provincial-level demonstration training centers and school-enterprise cooperation practice education bases, with the average value of teaching instruments and equipment per student reaching more than 10,000 yuan. Adhering to the path of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation in running schools, it has signed strategic cooperation agreements with more than 150 well-known enterprises inside and outside the province. On campus, there are military soul theme sculptures, national defense education experience halls, tanks, radars and other large-scale military equipment exhibitions, highlighting the characteristics of national defense military talent training.
