安徽广播影视职业技术学院是一所由安徽省教育厅主管，接受安徽省广播电视局业务指导的公办高等职业院校，也是全国最早举办广播影视类高等职业教育的院校之一，是华东地区唯一一所广播影视类全日制公办普通高等职业学校。学院办学历史悠久，始建于1960年，时称安徽省中级广播学校，1984年更名为安徽广播电视学校，2002年7月经安徽省人民政府批准、教育部备案升格为高职学院，面向全国招生，2010年在安徽省高等职业院校人才培养工作评估中获得“优秀”等级。

Anhui Broadcasting Movie and Television College is a public higher vocational college administered by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education and under the professional guidance of the Anhui Provincial Radio and Television Bureau. It is one of the earliest institutions in China to offer higher vocational education in radio, film and television, and the only full-time public ordinary higher vocational school specializing in radio, film and television in East China. With a long history, the college was founded in 1960 as Anhui Intermediate Broadcasting School, renamed Anhui Radio and Television School in 1984, and upgraded to a higher vocational college in July 2002 with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, enrolling students nationwide. It was awarded the "Excellent" grade in the talent training evaluation of higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province in 2010.

学院位于合肥市新站区高教基地，占地面积618.89亩，建筑面积15万平方米，设有新闻传播学院、艺术设计学院、播音主持与影视学院、管理学院等5个二级学院，开设播音与主持、广播影视节目制作、影视编导等17个专业，其中省级特色专业6个。学院建有演播厅、影视制作中心、实验电台、实验电视台等120多个校内实验实训基地，教学仪器设备总值3400多万元，图书馆馆藏纸质图书46.96万册、电子图书80万册，形成了“前堂后台、工学融合”的鲜明办学特色。

Located in the Higher Education Base of Xinzhan District, Hefei, the college covers an area of 618.89 mu with a building area of 150,000 square meters. It has 5 secondary colleges including the School of Journalism and Communication, School of Art and Design, School of Broadcasting Hosting and Film & Television, and School of Management, offering 17 majors such as Broadcasting and Hosting, Radio, Film and Television Program Production, and Film and Television Directing, among which 6 are provincial-level characteristic majors. The college has built over 120 on-campus experimental and training bases including studios, film and television production centers, experimental radio stations, and experimental TV stations, with teaching instruments and equipment worth more than 34 million yuan. The library has a collection of 469,600 paper books and 800,000 e-books, forming a distinct school-running feature of "Classroom-Platform Integration and Work-Study Integration".

学院现有教职工255人，专任教师232人，其中研究生学历或硕士学位151人，教授8人，副教授43人，省级教学名师3人、专业带头人11人，双师素质教师94人。多年来，学院坚持“立足传媒、面向社会、注重素质、强化技能”的办学思路，与安徽广播电视台等多家行业企业建立深度合作关系，学生“双证书”获取率达90%以上，培养了大批广播影视行业专业技术人才，被誉为“安徽广电人才的摇篮”。

The college currently has 255 faculty members, including 232 full-time teachers, among whom 151 have postgraduate degrees or master's degrees, 8 are professors, 43 are associate professors, 3 are provincial-level teaching masters, 11 are professional leaders, and 94 are double-qualified teachers. Over the years, adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Based on Media, Facing Society, Focusing on Quality, and Strengthening Skills", the college has established in-depth cooperative relations with many industry enterprises such as Anhui Radio and Television Station. The acquisition rate of students' "double certificates" (academic diploma and vocational qualification certificate) exceeds 90%, and it has cultivated a large number of professional and technical talents in the radio, film and television industry, known as "the cradle of Anhui radio and television talents".
