郑州电力高等专科学校是一所由中央和地方共建、由电力行业举办、以电力职业教育为主体的普通高校，是中南地区重要的电力技术技能型人才培养培训基地。学校始建于1933年，前身为河南省立郑州高级工业职业学校，历经92年办学历程，1994年正式升格为高等专科学校。

Zhengzhou Electric Power College is a public higher education institution co-built by the central and local governments, sponsored by the electric power industry, and focusing on electric power vocational education. It serves as a key training base for technical and skilled talents in the electric power sector in Central South China. Founded in 1933 as Henan Provincial Zhengzhou Advanced Industrial Vocational School, it has a 92-year educational history and was officially upgraded to a junior college in 1994.

学校现有两个校区，占地面积800亩，建筑面积近30万平方米，开设智能电网、绿色发电、智能制造等五大专业领域30余个专业。拥有省级工程技术研究中心、重点实验室等10余个科研平台，先后获评河南省“双高计划”建设院校、现代学徒制示范高校等荣誉。

The college has two campuses covering 800 mu (about 53.3 hectares) with a building area of nearly 300,000 square meters. It offers over 30 majors across five key fields including smart grid, green power generation, and intelligent manufacturing. Equipped with more than 10 scientific research platforms such as provincial engineering technology research centers and key laboratories, it has been awarded titles like Henan Provincial "Double High-Level" Construction Institution and Model University for Modern Apprenticeship.

作为电力行业职教标杆，学校深化产教融合，与国家电网等企业共建实训基地，牵头成立“一带一路电力丝路学院联盟”，累计培养近10万名电力人才，被誉为“中原电力技术技能人才的摇篮”。

As a benchmark for vocational education in the electric power industry, the college deepens industry-education integration by co-building training bases with enterprises like State Grid. It leads the "Belt and Road Power Silk Road College Alliance" and has cultivated nearly 100,000 electric power professionals, earning the reputation as "the cradle of technical talents in Central Plains electric power sector".
