郑州电力高等专科学校是一所由中央和地方共建、由电力行业举办、以电力职业教育为主体的普通高校,是中南地区重要的电力技术技能型人才培养培训基地。学校始建于1933年,前身为河南省立郑州高级工业职业学校,历经92年办学历程,1994年正式升格为高等专科学校。

学校现有两个校区,占地面积800亩,建筑面积近30万平方米,开设智能电网、绿色发电、智能制造等五大专业领域30余个专业。拥有省级工程技术研究中心、重点实验室等10余个科研平台,先后获评河南省“双高计划”建设院校、现代学徒制示范高校等荣誉。
The college has two campuses covering 800 mu (about 53.3 hectares) with a building area of nearly 300,000 square meters. It offers over 30 majors across five key fields including smart grid, green power generation, and intelligent manufacturing. Equipped with more than 10 scientific research platforms such as provincial engineering technology research centers and key laboratories, it has been awarded titles like Henan Provincial "Double High-Level" Construction Institution and Model University for Modern Apprenticeship.
