周口职业技术学院是经河南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，办学历史始于1947年9月，2001年4月升格为高职专科，是河南省首批示范性高职院校、河南省高职教育品牌示范校、河南省优质高职院校、河南省高等职业学校高水平专业群建设单位。

Zhoukou Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Its educational history began in September 1947 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in April 2001. It is one of the first demonstration higher vocational colleges in Henan Province, a brand demonstration school of higher vocational education in Henan Province, a high-quality higher vocational college in Henan Province, and a construction unit of high-level professional groups in higher vocational schools in Henan Province.

学校现有开元、文昌、中州三个校区，13个二级学院（部）和1所附属医院，占地面积1655亩，馆藏图书111万册，固定资产总值7.5亿元，教学设施完善，校园环境优雅。开设有53个全日制高职专业；拥有国家级实训基地2个，省级示范性实训基地4个，省级特色专业5个，省级专业示范点1个，省级综合改革试点专业6个，机电一体化技术专业为河南省高等职业学校高水平专业群建设单位。

The college has three campuses: Kaiyuan, Wenchang and Zhongzhou, 13 secondary colleges (departments) and one affiliated hospital, covering an area of 1655 mu, with 1.11 million books in the library and a total fixed asset value of 750 million yuan. It has complete teaching facilities and an elegant campus environment. It offers 53 full-time higher vocational majors; it has 2 national-level training bases, 4 provincial-level demonstration training bases, 5 provincial-level characteristic majors, 1 provincial-level professional demonstration site, 6 provincial-level comprehensive reform pilot majors, and the mechanical and electrical integration technology major is a high-level professional group construction unit of higher vocational schools in Henan Province.
