浙江警官职业学院是浙江省司法厅管理的专科层次司法高职院校,主要培养监狱戒毒人民警察、人民法院检察院司法警察、综合行政执法人员、基层司法行政工作者,以及安全防范、网络与信息安全、应急救援等领域高素质技术技能人才。学院前身为1982年8月创办的省劳改工作干部训练班;1984年5月经省政府批准正式建立省劳改工作学校,后历经更名,2002年1月正式成立浙江警官职业学院。
Zhejiang Police Vocational College is a public judicial vocational college under the administration of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Justice. It mainly cultivates high-quality technical and skilled talents for prison and drug rehabilitation police, judicial police of people's courts and procuratorates, comprehensive administrative law enforcement personnel, grass-roots judicial administrative workers, as well as fields such as security, network and information security, and emergency rescue. The college originated from the Provincial Reform-through-Labor Work Cadre Training Class founded in August 1982. In May 1984, it was officially established as the Provincial Reform-through-Labor Work School with the approval of the provincial government, and after several name changes, it was formally named Zhejiang Police Vocational College in January 2002.
学院是全国公安与司法大类高职院校中唯一一所国家示范性高职院校、司法部与省级政府共建院校及国家“双高计划”建设单位。占地面积524亩,建筑面积18万平方米,设有6个教学系部、19个专科专业及3个联办本科专业,现有专任教师292人(其中高级职称105人、博士37人),全日制在校生5521人。近5年获国家级标志性成果20项、省部级307项,连续7年位居全国高职高专公安与司法大类综合竞争力排名首位。
The college is the only national model higher vocational college, the only co-constructed institution by the Ministry of Justice and the provincial government, and a national "Double-High Plan" construction unit among higher vocational colleges of public security and judicial categories in China. It covers an area of 524 mu with a building area of 180,000 square meters, comprising 6 teaching departments, 19 junior college majors, and 3 co-established undergraduate majors. The college has 292 full-time teachers (including 105 with senior professional titles and 37 doctors) and 5,521 full-time students. In the past five years, it has achieved 20 national-level landmark achievements and 307 provincial-level ones, ranking first in the comprehensive competitiveness evaluation of national public security and judicial vocational colleges for seven consecutive years.
