鹰潭职业技术学院是经江西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案设立的公办全日制普通高等专科院校，其前身为2002年4月由鹰潭师范学校与鹰潭教育学院合并重组而成。2020年，学院通过省教育厅恢复办学评估并迁入信江新区滨江东路2号新校区，校园占地500亩，建筑面积12万平方米，现有教职工247人，在校生5323人。

Yingtan Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It was established in April 2002 through the merger and reorganization of Yingtan Normal School and Yingtan College of Education. In 2020, the college passed the resumption of school evaluation by the Provincial Department of Education and moved to the new campus at No. 2 Binjiang East Road, Xinjiang New District, covering an area of 500 mu with a building area of 120,000 square meters. Currently, it has 247 faculty members and 5,323 students.

学院设有5个系部，开设13个普通高招专业，涵盖职业类和师范类两大方向，其中职业类专业11个（如机电一体化技术、大数据与会计、计算机应用技术等），师范类专业2个（小学教育、学前教育）。校内建有1个实训基地，教学设备总值2821万元，图书馆藏纸质图书12万册、电子图书6万册。

The college has 5 departments and offers 13 general college enrollment majors, covering two major directions: vocational and normal education. Among them, there are 11 vocational majors (such as Mechatronics Technology, Big Data and Accounting, Computer Application Technology, etc.) and 2 normal majors (Primary Education, Preschool Education). There is 1 training base on campus, with a total value of 28.21 million yuan in teaching equipment, and the library has 120,000 paper books and 60,000 e-books.

学院秉承“厚德、笃学、优术、自强”校训，坚持“服务学生成长、教师发展”办学理念，主动对接地方产业发展，与鹰潭文旅投集团、华强方特（鹰潭）等企业开展校企合作。2024年师生获国家级、省级各类比赛奖项31项，先后荣获“全国安全健康教育示范学院”“江西省节水型高校”等称号，致力于培养服务区域经济社会发展的高等技术技能型人才。

Adhering to the school motto of "Houde (Virtue), Duxue (Study Diligently), Youshu (Excellence in Skills), Ziqiang (Self-Improvement)" and the school-running philosophy of "Serving Students' Growth and Teachers' Development", the college actively connects with local industrial development and carries out school-enterprise cooperation with enterprises such as Yingtan Culture and Tourism Investment Group and Huaqiang Fangte (Yingtan). In 2024, teachers and students won 31 national and provincial awards in various competitions, and has successively been awarded titles such as "National Safety and Health Education Demonstration College" and "Jiangxi Water-Saving University", committed to cultivating high-level technical and skilled talents serving regional economic and social development.
