达卡大学（University of Dhaka）是孟加拉国历史最悠久、规模最大、最负盛名的公立研究型大学，被誉为“孟加拉国的牛津”。学校成立于1921年，坐落于孟加拉国首都达卡市，其前身为英属印度时期的达卡学院，后发展为独立的综合性大学。建校初期，达卡大学以英语为教学语言，如今已逐步过渡到孟加拉语与英语双语教学体系，涵盖人文、社科、自然科学、工程、医学等多个学科领域。

The University of Dhaka, known as the "Oxford of Bangladesh", is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious public research university in Bangladesh. Founded in 1921 and located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, its predecessor was Dhaka College during the British Indian period, which later developed into an independent comprehensive university. In its early days, the University of Dhaka used English as the medium of instruction, and now it has gradually transitioned to a bilingual teaching system of Bengali and English, covering multiple disciplines such as humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and medicine.
