University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), established in 1906 as Lyallpur Agricultural College, is Pakistan's oldest institution of higher education in agriculture and the country's largest university by land area, spanning 2,550 acres. As a public research university, it specializes in agricultural sciences and consistently ranks among Pakistan's top 10 higher education institutions. Its Agricultural Engineering program is ranked 87th globally, with Plant Sciences and Animal Sciences also placing in the world's top 300, making it a leading South Asian institution in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Located in Faisalabad, Pakistan's third-largest city, the university was originally founded during British colonial rule and renamed in 1977 following the city's name change. The campus preserves red-brick architectural styles from the British Indian era, with some historic buildings converted into agricultural museums. UAF maintains close collaborations with Chinese universities, including a joint Confucius Institute, and conducts cooperative research in agricultural biotechnology and smart farming equipment. Instruction is in English, with international students required to meet IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 75 language proficiency standards.
