台州科技职业学院是浙江省人民政府批准建立、台州市人民政府主办的专科层次全日制普通高校，其前身为创办于1937年的原台州农校和1921年的原黄岩师范学校，两校于2003年6月合并筹建，2007年2月正式成立。学校是浙江省“双高计划”建设单位、教育部职业教育发展中心实验校，先后荣获浙江省文明单位、浙江省4A等级平安校园、浙江省治安安全示范单位等称号，还获得过全国职业院校技能大赛教学能力比赛一等奖、浙江省科学技术奖一等奖等多项荣誉。

Taizhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time public college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and sponsored by the People's Government of Taizhou City. Its predecessors are the former Taizhou Agricultural School founded in 1937 and the former Huangyan Normal School founded in 1921. The two schools were merged and prepared for establishment in June 2003 and officially established in February 2007. The school is a construction unit of Zhejiang Province's "Double-High Plan" and an experimental school of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education. It has successively won titles such as Zhejiang Civilized Unit, Zhejiang 4A-level Safe Campus, Zhejiang Public Security and Safety Model Unit, and has also won many honors including the first prize in the Teaching Ability Competition of the National Vocational College Skills Competition and the first prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award.

学校坐落于“山海水城、和合圣地、制造之都”——台州，永宁江碧水三面环绕，生态环境优越，交通便捷。校园占地525亩，建筑面积22万平方米，规划用地760亩，教学科研仪器设备总值上亿元，纸质图书83万余册。下设9个二级学院，开设园艺技术、模具设计与制造、大数据与会计等30个专业，其中国家骨干专业1个，省高水平专业群2个，在校生近万人。

The school is located in Taizhou, known as "a city of mountains and seas, a holy land of harmony, and a capital of manufacturing". Surrounded by the clear water of Yongning River on three sides, it has an excellent ecological environment and convenient transportation. The campus covers an area of 525 mu, with a building area of 220,000 square meters and a planned land area of 760 mu. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is over 100 million yuan, and there are more than 830,000 paper books. It has 9 secondary colleges, offering 30 majors such as Horticultural Technology, Mold Design and Manufacturing, and Big Data and Accounting, including 1 national key major and 2 provincial high-level professional groups, with nearly 10,000 students.

学校坚持“职教性、地方性、高教性”办学定位，深化产教融合、校企合作，共建多个产业学院，牵头成立多个产教联盟，着力培养面向基层、生产、服务和管理第一线的高素质技术技能人才。近年来，毕业生就业率稳定在97%左右，留台率逐年提升，为区域经济社会发展作出了积极贡献。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "vocational education, locality, and higher education", the school deepens the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, jointly builds multiple industrial colleges, takes the lead in establishing multiple industry-education alliances, and strives to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents for the front line of grass-roots, production, service and management. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates has stabilized at around 97%, and the retention rate in Taizhou has increased year by year, making positive contributions to regional economic and social development.
