泰山护理职业学院前身为1956年创建的山东省泰安卫生学校，2011年升格为高职院校，至今已有68年建校史。学院坐落于山东泰安市，是一所公办医药类专科院校，占地面积530亩，在校生1.1万人，教职工548人，其中中高级职称教师占比52.3%，双师型教师196人。

Taishan Vocational College of Nursing originated from Shandong Tai'an Health School founded in 1956 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2011, with a history of 68 years. Located in Tai'an City, Shandong Province, it is a public medical and pharmaceutical vocational college covering an area of 530 mu, with 11,000 students and 548 faculty members, among whom 52.3% have intermediate or senior professional titles and 196 are "double-qualified" teachers.

学院以医、药、护、技为特色，开设3个教学部、6个系、六大专业群及19个招生专业（含护理专本贯通、药学中外合作项目），其中预防医学、护理、助产为国控专业。拥有2个省级高水平专业群、2个全国职业院校骨干专业，建成直属附属医院1家、非直属附属医院2家及省内外90余家实习基地，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在93%以上，护士执业资格考试通过率超96%。

Featuring medicine, pharmacy, nursing and medical technology, the college has 3 teaching departments, 6 academic departments, six major groups and 19 enrollment majors (including nursing undergraduate program and pharmacy Sino-foreign cooperation program). Preventive Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery are state-controlled majors. It has 2 provincial high-level professional groups, 2 national backbone majors for vocational colleges, 1 directly affiliated hospital, 2 non-directly affiliated hospitals and over 90 internship bases inside and outside the province. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 93% for years, with the passing rate of nurse qualification examination exceeding 96%.

学院先后荣获国家级青年文明号、全国健康学校建设单位、山东省文明校园等百余项荣誉，是国家卫健委医疗护理员培训项目单位、山东省康养产教研联盟理事长单位，形成了"校院融合、医教协同"的办学特色，为区域医疗卫生事业培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college has won over 100 honors including National Youth Civilization, National Healthy School Construction Unit and Shandong Civilized Campus. It is the national medical nurse training project unit of National Health Commission and the chairman unit of Shandong康养产教研 Alliance. With the school-running characteristic of "integration of college and hospital, collaboration of medical and education", it has cultivated a large number of high-quality technical talents for regional medical and health undertakings.
