上饶职业技术学院是2004年经江西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案成立的公办全日制专科层次普通高等学校，由上饶市农业学校、上饶市工业中等专业学校、江西省文艺学校上饶分校合并组建，2015年江西凤凰高级技工学校并入，至今已有71年办学历史。学校位于素有“八方通衢”“豫章第一门户”之称的千年古城上饶市，现有广信校区，占地面积502.8亩，建筑面积14.9万平方米，教学仪器设备总值3032万元，图书馆藏书16.3万册，各类在校生1.4万余人，教职工600余人。

Shangrao Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered by the Ministry of Education in 2004. It was formed by the merger of Shangrao Agricultural School, Shangrao Industrial Secondary Professional School, and Shangrao Branch of Jiangxi Art School, with Jiangxi Phoenix Senior Technical School merged into it in 2015, boasting a 71-year educational history. Located in the millennium-old city of Shangrao, known as the "Thoroughfare of Eight Directions" and "the First Gateway of Yuzhang", the college has a Guangxin campus covering an area of 502.8 mu (about 335,200 square meters) with a building area of 149,000 square meters. The total value of teaching equipment reaches 30.32 million yuan, the library has a collection of 163,000 books, with over 14,000 students and more than 600 faculty members.

学院设有汽车工程学院、电子与自动化学院等7个二级学院及2所附属学校，开设应用电子技术、大数据技术等37个专科专业，拥有省级特色专业1个、省级现代学徒制试点专业2个，电子信息技术专业群入选江西省50个省级高水平专业群。学院注重产教融合，与30余家重点企业开展订单培养，并与白俄罗斯国立工艺大学合作办学，致力于培养适应区域经济发展的高素质技术技能人才。

The college has 7 secondary colleges including the School of Automotive Engineering and the School of Electronics and Automation, as well as 2 affiliated schools. It offers 37 junior college programs such as Applied Electronic Technology and Big Data Technology, with 1 provincial-level characteristic major, 2 provincial-level modern apprenticeship pilot majors, and its Electronic Information Technology professional group has been selected into the 50 provincial-level high-level professional groups in Jiangxi Province. Focusing on industry-education integration, the college has carried out order-based training with more than 30 key enterprises and cooperates with Belarusian State Technological University in running schools, committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents adapting to regional economic development.
