商丘职业技术学院位于豫鲁苏皖四省接合部的中国历史文化名城、全国综合交通枢纽城市、有“殷商之源”之称的商丘市。学校是2001年4月经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的一所公办全日制综合性高等职业院校，是全国百所国家示范性高等职业院校之一，国务院批准的地方政府促进高等职业教育发展综合改革试点院校，全国高等职业院校教学资源50强，国家级乡村振兴人才培养优质校；河南省特色高等职业院校，河南省优质高等职业院校，河南省教育厅首批应用型本科教育试点院校，河南省高水平高等职业学校和高水平专业建设院校，河南省文明校园，河南省依法治校示范校。

Shangqiu Polytechnic is located in Shangqiu City, a famous historical and cultural city in China, a national comprehensive transportation hub city, and known as the "source of Yin Shang" in the junction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. Approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education in April 2001, it is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college. 学校坚持立德树人根本任务，以服务发展为宗旨，以促进就业为导向，走产学研结合的发展道路，培养生产、建设、管理、服务第一线需要的高素质技术技能人才。学校占地1573亩，建筑面积60.43万平方米，固定资产总值逾10亿元，仪器设备总值2.49亿元，建有330个校内科研、实习实训基地及实训室，校企共建校外实习基地264个。开设75个专业（方向），涵盖13个高职高专专业大类，全日制高职教育在校生22000多人，近三年毕业生平均就业率98%以上。
