泉州医学高等专科学校坐落于东亚文化之都、著名侨乡、历史文化名城泉州市洛阳江畔，是一所全日制公办的国家示范性（骨干）医药卫生类高职院校。学校创建于1934年，初名惠世高级护校，历经多次更名与发展，于2004年5月经国家教育部批准升格为现名。在80余年的办学历程中，学校凝炼了“精诚惠世”的校训精神，确立了“志诚业精、尚德崇医、技以载道、济世惠民”的办学理念，为社会培养、输送了5万多名大、中专实用型各类专业卫生技术人才。

Quanzhou Medical College is located on the bank of the Luoyang River in Quanzhou, a famous cultural city with a long history, a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese, and the cultural capital of East Asia. It is a full-time public national demonstration (backbone) medical and health vocational college. Founded in 1934, the school was initially named Huishi Advanced Nursing School. After several name changes and developments, it was upgraded to its current name with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2004. During its more than 80 years of running, the school has condensed the school motto spirit of "Sincerity Benefits the World" and established the school-running philosophy of "Aspiration and Sincerity, Excellence in Skills; Respecting Virtue and Valuing Medicine; Skills as the Vehicle, Benefiting the People". It has cultivated and transported more than 50,000 practical professional health technical talents of college and technical secondary school levels for the society.

学校现有洛江、南安两个校区，占地面积720.88亩，建筑面积44.54万平方米。设有马克思主义学院、社科公共部、基础医学部、临床医学院、护理学院、药学院、公共卫生学院、口腔医学院等12个教学教辅院部，开设临床医学、护理、药学、医学检验技术、中医学、口腔医学等20个全日制专科专业。面向全国招生，文理兼收，目前有全日制大专在校生8500余人，并与福建医科大学、福建中医药大学联合举办多个专升本专业，为学生提供继续深造的机会。

The school currently has two campuses, Luojiang and Nan'an, covering an area of 720.88 mu with a building area of 445,400 square meters. It has 12 teaching and auxiliary departments including the School of Marxism, the Department of Social Sciences and Public Affairs, the Department of Basic Medicine, the School of Clinical Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Public Health, and the School of Stomatology. It offers 20 full-time specialized majors such as Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Stomatology. Enrolling students from all over the country, regardless of arts and sciences, there are currently more than 8,500 full-time college students. It also jointly offers multiple undergraduate upgrading majors with Fujian Medical University and Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, providing students with opportunities for further study.
