泉州经贸职业技术学院是经福建省人民政府批准、由泉州市人民政府举办的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，坐落于首批中国历史文化名城、首届东亚文化之都、古代海上丝绸之路起点——泉州。学校前身为1964年创建的晋江地区泉州商业学校和1979年创建的晋江地区供销学校，2001年两校合并为泉州商贸学校，2004年升格为高职院校，2009年泉州慈山财经学校并入，形成“一校两区”办学格局。

Quanzhou Institute of Economics and Trade is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and sponsored by the Quanzhou Municipal People's Government. It is located in Quanzhou, one of the first batch of National Historical and Cultural Cities, the first East Asian Cultural Capital, and the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. The college originated from Quanzhou Commercial School (founded in 1964) and Jinjiang District Supply and Marketing School (founded in 1979). These two schools merged into Quanzhou Business School in 2001, was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004, and incorporated Quanzhou Cishan Finance and Economics School in 2009, forming a "one college, two campuses" educational structure.

学校是福建省“双高”建设院校、全国职业院校数字校园建设实验校，现有财经商贸、轻工纺织、电子信息等8大类39个专业，其中国家级骨干专业1个、省级高水平专业群1个。校园占地452亩，各类学生逾1.3万人，教职工近600人，双师型教师占比达60%。学校秉承“明德、善学、强技、力行”校训，深化产教融合，与安踏、中软等企业共建产业学院，近三年学生获国家级技能大赛奖项50余项，毕业生就业率持续保持在98%以上。

As a "Double High-Level" construction college in Fujian Province and a national experimental school for digital campus construction in vocational colleges, the institute offers 39 majors covering 8 categories including finance and trade, light industry and textiles, and electronic information, with 1 national-level key major and 1 provincial-level high-level professional group. Covering an area of 452 mu, it has over 13,000 students and nearly 600 faculty members, with 60% being "dual-qualification" teachers. Adhering to the motto of "Virtue, Learning, Skills, Practice", the college deepens industry-education integration and has established industrial colleges with enterprises like Anta and Neusoft. In the past three years, students have won more than 50 national skill competition awards, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 98%.
