青海卫生职业技术学院是经国家教育部批准、青海省人民政府举办的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，隶属于青海省卫生健康委员会，是集护理、临床、预防、药学、医技等专业教育为一体的卫生类高职院校。学院始建于1948年，前身为省立高级护士职业学校，2003年升格为全国首家卫生职业技术学院，坐落于青海省省会西宁市，现有城中、城北两个校区，占地面积约590亩。

Qinghai Institute of Health Sciences is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and run by the People's Government of Qinghai Province. Affiliated to Qinghai Provincial Health Commission, it integrates professional education in nursing, clinical medicine, prevention, pharmacy, and medical technology. Founded in 1948 as the Provincial Advanced Nurse Vocational School, it was upgraded to China's first health vocational and technical college in 2003. Located in Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province, it has two campuses (Chengzhong and Chengbei) covering an area of approximately 590 mu.

学院下设8个教学部门，开设临床医学、护理、口腔医学等14个专科专业，其中国家级骨干专业2个、国家级示范专业2个、省级示范专业6个。现有教职工313人，专任教师270人，"双师型"教师占比48%；在校生近5000人，拥有直属附属医院1所、非直属附属医院4所及校外实习基地130个，秉承"勤奋笃行、明德至善"校训，累计培养医疗卫生技术人才2.5万余人，为青海卫生健康事业发展提供重要人才支撑。

The college has 8 teaching departments offering 14 specialized programs including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Stomatology, with 2 national-level key majors, 2 national-level demonstration majors, and 6 provincial-level demonstration majors. It has 313 faculty members, including 270 full-time teachers with 48% being "double-qualified" teachers, and nearly 5,000 students. The college boasts 1 directly affiliated hospital, 4 non-directly affiliated hospitals, and 130 off-campus internship bases. Adhering to the motto of "Diligence, Dedication, Virtue, and Perfection", it has cultivated over 25,000 medical and health technical talents, providing crucial talent support for the development of health undertakings in Qinghai.
