青岛远洋船员职业学院成立于1976年，坐落于山东省青岛市黄岛区海军路1166号，是一所隶属于中国远洋海运集团有限公司、教育行政管理隶属山东省的公办普通高等职业院校。学院前身为青岛海运学校，历经多次更名与发展，于2010年经教育部批准改建为现名，2020年整合集团教育资源后形成“一套班子、四块牌子”的运作模式，集学历教育、在职培训、科技研发于一体。

Qingdao Ocean Shipping Mariners College was founded in 1976 and is located at No. 1166 Haijun Road, Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It is a public higher vocational college affiliated to China COSCO Shipping Group Co., Ltd. with educational administration under Shandong Province. Formerly known as Qingdao Maritime School, the college has undergone several name changes and developments. It was renamed to its current name upon approval by the Ministry of Education in 2010 and formed an operational model of "one leadership team with four brand names" after integrating group educational resources in 2020, integrating academic education, on-the-job training, and scientific research and development.

学院以航海类专业为特色，重点开设航海技术、轮机工程技术、船舶电子电气技术等核心专业，实施半军事化管理，注重培养学生的职业素养与实操能力。校园占地54.4万余平方米，拥有各类实训室120余个，图书馆藏书50万册，教职工487人，学历班在校生4800余人，是山东省名校工程首批立项建设单位及技能型人才培养特色名校。

The college features maritime-related majors, focusing on core programs such as Navigation Technology, Marine Engineering Technology, and Marine Electronic and Electrical Technology. It implements semi-military management to cultivate students' professional qualities and practical abilities. The campus covers an area of over 544,000 square meters, with more than 120 training rooms, a library with 500,000 books, 487 faculty members, and over 4,800 full-time students. It is among the first batch of Shandong Provincial Famous School Project construction units and a characteristic school for cultivating skilled talents.
