濮阳职业技术学院是经河南省人民政府批准成立、国家教育部备案，具有普通高等学历教育招生资格的全日制公办高等职业院校。学校前身可追溯至1950年的省立濮阳师范学校，2001年4月由原濮阳教育学院、濮阳广播电视大学、濮阳师范学校、濮阳工业学校合并组建。学校坐落于国家历史文化名城、中华龙乡——濮阳市，校园占地1162亩，总建筑面积52万余平方米，固定资产总值17.22亿元，馆藏纸质及电子图书合计170.6万册。

Puyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and qualified for enrolling students in general higher education. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Provincial Puyang Normal School founded in 1950. In April 2001, it was established by merging the former Puyang Institute of Education, Puyang Radio and Television University, Puyang Normal School, and Puyang Industrial School. Located in Puyang City, a national historical and cultural city known as the "Hometown of Chinese Dragons", the college covers an area of 1162 mu with a total construction area of over 520,000 square meters, fixed assets of 1.722 billion yuan, and a collection of 1.706 million paper and electronic books.

学校现有教职工1241人，其中专任教师994人，教授56人，副教授217人，博士17人，硕士591人；享受国务院特殊津贴专家、全国优秀教师等省级以上人才100余人。设有12个教学院部，开设57个专业，其中国家级重点专业4个，省级特色专业及高水平专业群26个；建有国家级实训基地3个，省级实训基地9个，各类在校学生28643人，其中全日制普通本专科生20373人。

The college has 1,241 faculty members, including 994 full-time teachers, 56 professors, 217 associate professors, 17 doctors, and 591 masters. There are over 100 provincial-level and above talents such as experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and national excellent teachers. It has 12 teaching colleges and departments, offering 57 majors, including 4 national key majors and 26 provincial characteristic majors and high-level professional groups. The college has built 3 national-level training bases and 9 provincial-level training bases, with a total of 28,643 students of various types, including 20,373 full-time undergraduate and junior college students.

学校先后荣获教育部高职高专人才培养工作水平评估优秀院校、河南省优质高等职业院校、河南省文明校园标兵等多项荣誉称号，2015年依托学校设立河南大学濮阳工学院，开启本科教育办学模式，已发展成为一所集全日制本专科教育、成人教育、职业培训为一体的综合性高等职业院校。

The college has successively won many honors such as "Excellent College in Talent Training Evaluation of Higher Vocational Colleges" by the Ministry of Education, "High-quality Higher Vocational College of Henan Province", and "Model of Civilized Campus in Henan Province". In 2015, Puyang Institute of Technology of Henan University was established relying on the college, starting the undergraduate education mode. It has developed into a comprehensive higher vocational college integrating full-time undergraduate and junior college education, adult education, and vocational training.
