南通科技职业学院创建于1945年，是一所公办全日制普通高校。学校是教育部高职高专人才培养水平评估优秀学校、江苏省示范性高职院校、江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位。地处被誉为长三角北翼经济中心的国家历史文化名城江苏省南通市，滨江临海，处于上海1小时经济圈内，区位优势突出。校园坐落于南通市主城区，交通便捷、环境优美、商业繁华、配套完善，总面积600余亩，现有在校生12000余人，教职员工600余人。

Nantong College of Science and Technology, founded in 1945, is a public full-time ordinary college. It has been awarded Excellent School in the Talent Training Level Evaluation of Higher Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education, a Demonstrative Higher Vocational College in Jiangsu Province, and a Construction Unit for High-level Vocational Schools with Chinese Characteristics in Jiangsu Province. Located in Nantong, a national historical and cultural city known as the economic center of the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, it is adjacent to the Yangtze River and the sea, within the 1-hour economic circle of Shanghai, enjoying a prominent geographical advantage. The campus is situated in the main urban area of Nantong, with convenient transportation, beautiful environment, prosperous commerce and complete supporting facilities. Covering an area of more than 600 mu, it currently has over 12,000 students and more than 600 faculty members.

学校设有环境与生物工程学院、园艺与景观工程学院等5个二级学院及马克思主义学院（素质教育部）等教学机构，形成现代农业、健康环保、智能装备等六大专业集群，开设39个专业，其中国家级重点建设专业2个、省级品牌专业1个。秉承“厚德·匠心”校训精神，坚持产教融合、校企合作，与200多家企业深度合作，共建产业学院，荣获中国产学研合作创新奖。学生技能扎实，水环境监测与治理赛项四届蝉联全国职业院校技能大赛团体一等奖，毕业生就业率连年攀高，获江苏省高校毕业生就业工作先进集体称号。

The college has 5 secondary colleges including the School of Environmental and Biological Engineering, the School of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, as well as teaching institutions such as the Marxist College (Department of Quality Education). It has formed six major professional clusters including modern agriculture, health and environmental protection, and intelligent equipment, offering 39 majors, including 2 national key construction majors and 1 provincial brand major. Upholding the school motto of "Houde · Jiangxin" (Virtue and Craftsmanship), it adheres to the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, has in-depth cooperation with more than 200 enterprises, and jointly builds industrial colleges, winning the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award. Students have solid skills, with the water environment monitoring and governance project winning the first prize in the National Vocational College Skills Competition for four consecutive times. The employment rate of graduates has been rising year by year, and the college has been awarded the title of Advanced Collective in Employment Work for College Graduates in Jiangsu Province.
