闽西职业技术学院是由龙岩市人民政府举办的公办高等职业院校，前身为1983年创办的闽西职业大学，2004年更名为现名，2019年整合龙岩卫校、龙岩财校资源，形成“一校四区”办学格局。学校是国家示范性骨干高职院校、福建省A类高水平职业院校，秉承“弘毅笃行、技精业成”校训，培养适应区域产业需求的高素质技术技能人才。

Minxi Vocational & Technical College is a public higher vocational college sponsored by the Longyan Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was Minxi Vocational University founded in 1983, renamed to its current name in 2004, and integrated resources from Longyan Health School and Longyan Finance School in 2019, forming a "one school with four campuses" educational structure. It is a National Model Key Vocational College and a Class A High-level Vocational College in Fujian Province, adhering to the motto of "Perseverance and Practice, Excellence in Skills and Career", cultivating high-quality technical talents to meet regional industrial needs.

学校现有校本部、天马、虎岭、汀州四个校区，占地56.24公顷，建筑面积35.83万平方米，下设7个二级学院，开设46个高职专业，其中国家级骨干重点专业4个、省级高水平专业群2个。拥有教职工676人，高职在校生12000余人，教学科研仪器设备总值1.46亿元，馆藏图书129.7万册，构建了“政行企校”协同育人体系，2024届毕业生就业率达96.25%。

The college currently has four campuses: the main campus, Tianma, Huling, and Tingzhou, covering an area of 56.24 hectares with a building area of 358,300 square meters. It has 7 secondary colleges offering 46 higher vocational majors, including 4 national key backbone majors and 2 provincial high-level professional groups. With 676 faculty members and over 12,000 vocational college students, it boasts teaching and research equipment worth 146 million yuan and a collection of 1.297 million books. It has established a "government-industry-enterprise-school" collaborative education system, with the employment rate of 2024 graduates reaching 96.25%.
