闽北职业技术学院位于福建省南平市延平区，是由南平市人民政府举办的全日制公办普通高等职业院校。学院始建于1929年，前身为福建省建阳师范学校、南平经济贸易学校和南平业余大学，2004年2月经福建省人民政府批准正式成立。学校现地处南平市江南新区职教园区，占地面积361.6亩，建筑面积12万平方米，现有在校生9053人，教职工266人。

Minbei Vocational and Technical College is located in Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province. It is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Nanping Municipal People's Government. Founded in 1929, the college evolved from Fujian Jianyang Normal School, Nanping Economic and Trade School, and Nanping Amateur University. It was officially established in February 2004 with the approval of the Fujian Provincial People's Government. Currently situated in the Vocational Education Park of Nanping's Jiangnan New District, the college covers an area of 361.6 mu (241,067 square meters) with a building area of 120,000 square meters. It has 9,053 students and 266 faculty members.

学院坚持“服务需求、人人成才、融合创新、特色发展”的办学理念，秉承“笃行善思，致用创新”的校训，开设26个专业，形成“312”专业群结构，建有省级高水平高职专业群1个、省级服务产业特色专业群1个。学院深化产教融合，建有圣农、元力等9个校企合作产业学院（其中省级3个），校内实训基地14个（含中央财政支持基地2个），校外实习实训基地105个，近年来师生技能大赛获国家奖项5项、省级奖项130余项。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Serving Needs, Cultivating Talents, Integrating Innovation, and Developing with Characteristics" and the school motto of "Acting with Integrity, Thinking Deeply, Applying Knowledge, and Innovating Practically", the college offers 26 majors, forming a "312" professional group structure. It has established 1 provincial-level high-level vocational professional group and 1 provincial-level service industry characteristic professional group. The college deepens industry-education integration by building 9 school-enterprise cooperative industrial colleges (including 3 at the provincial level) such as Shennong and Yuanli. It has 14 on-campus training bases (including 2 supported by central finance) and 105 off-campus internship bases. In recent years, teachers and students have won 5 national awards and over 130 provincial awards in skill competitions.

学院现为福建省就业创业先进单位、福建省高水平专业群立项建设单位、福建省高校毕业生创业孵化基地。近年来面向企业员工开展职业培训和就业创业培训4万余人次，与地方政府共建乡村振兴学院，选派科技特派员参与和美乡村建设，成为服务闽北区域经济社会发展的重要人才培养基地和技术服务平台。

The college is currently an Advanced Unit for Employment and Entrepreneurship in Fujian Province, a Provincial-level High-level Professional Group Construction Unit, and a Fujian Provincial College Graduate Entrepreneurship Incubation Base. In recent years, it has provided vocational training and employment-entrepreneurship training to over 40,000 enterprise employees. It has also established Rural Revitalization Colleges with local governments and dispatched science and technology commissioners to participate in the construction of beautiful villages, emerging as a key talent cultivation base and technical service platform for serving the economic and social development of the Minbei region.
