丽江文化旅游学院（原云南大学旅游文化学院）位于享有世界文化遗产、世界自然遗产、世界记忆遗产三项桂冠的云南省丽江市，创办于2001年，是教育部2004年首批确认的独立学院，2021年2月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校，为云南省首批转设的两所高校之一。学校占地1528亩，教学仪器设备总值过亿元，馆藏图书236.57万册，拥有云南省高校中唯一的2万平方米高尔夫球练习场，校园环境优美，入选全国大学生校园环境满意度50强高校。

Lijiang Culture and Tourism College (formerly Tourism and Culture College of Yunnan University) is located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, which boasts three world heritage titles: World Cultural Heritage, World Natural Heritage, and World Memory Heritage. Founded in 2001, it was one of the first independent colleges accredited by the Ministry of Education in 2004. In February 2021, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an independent private undergraduate university, being one of the first two universities in Yunnan Province to complete the transformation. The college covers an area of 1,528 mu, with teaching equipment worth over 100 million yuan and a collection of 2.3657 million books. It features the only 20,000-square-meter golf driving range among universities in Yunnan. With its beautiful campus environment, it has been listed among the top 50 universities in China for campus environment satisfaction.

学校以培养高素质应用型、技术技能型人才为目标，设有经济学、管理学、文学、艺术学等8个学科门类，40个本科专业和6个专科专业，其中酒店管理专业为国家级一流本科专业建设点，旅游管理、护理学为省级一流本科专业建设点。2024年软科中国民办高校排名中位列全国第75名、云南省第1名，近五年毕业生年终就业率保持在96%以上，累计培养5万余名本科毕业生，生源涵盖全国30个省（市、自治区）。

Aiming to cultivate high-quality applied and technical talents, the college offers 8 disciplines including Economics, Management, Literature, and Art, with 40 undergraduate programs and 6 junior college programs. Among them, Hotel Management is a national first-class undergraduate program construction site, while Tourism Management and Nursing are provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites. In the 2024 Soft Science China Private University Rankings, it ranked 75th nationwide and 1st in Yunnan Province. The annual employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% in the past five years, with over 50,000 undergraduate graduates cultivated, and students coming from 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across China.
