江西应用技术职业学院是江西省人民政府直属的全日制公办高职学院，始建于1958年，前身为江西地质学院（本科），历经多次更名调整，2002年升格为现名。学校是中国特色高水平专业群（A档）建设单位、国家优质专科高等职业院校，以国土资源类专业为特色，形成工科为主、多学科协调发展的专业体系，现有专科专业52个，其中国家级重点专业6个，省级高水平专业群4个。

Jiangxi College of Applied Technology is a full-time public vocational college directly under the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. Founded in 1958, its predecessor was Jiangxi Geological College (undergraduate level). After several name changes and adjustments, it was upgraded to its current name in 2002. The college is a construction unit of China's high-level professional groups (Grade A) and a national high-quality vocational college, featuring国土资源-related majors and forming a discipline system dominated by engineering and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It currently offers 52 specialized programs, including 6 national key majors and 4 provincial high-level professional groups.

学校位于江西省赣州市，现有章贡、黄金两个校区，校园占地1255.41亩，全日制在校生1.55万人。师资力量雄厚，拥有专任教师885人，其中副高及以上职称188人，双师型教师391人，享受国务院特殊津贴专家1人，全国技术能手6人。办学特色鲜明，牵头组建国家级市域产教联合体，在巴基斯坦建有海外分校，攀岩运动教育成果丰硕，培养了5名国际健将和14名国家健将。

Located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, the college has two campuses: Zhanggong and Huangjin, covering an area of 1255.41 mu with 15,500 full-time students. It boasts a strong faculty of 885 full-time teachers, including 188 with associate senior titles or above, 391 "double-qualified" teachers, 1 expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, and 6 national technical experts. The college has distinct办学 features: it leads the establishment of a national city-region industry-education consortium, has an overseas branch in Pakistan, and has achieved remarkable results in rock climbing education, cultivating 5 international masters and 14 national masters.

学校坚持产教融合、校企合作，建有7门国家在线精品课程，获国家级职业技能竞赛银牌2项，全国乡村振兴技能大赛金银奖4项。连续17年被评为江西省高校毕业生就业优秀单位，2025年入选全国高职院校服务贡献50强，办学成果得到社会广泛认可，正全力推进本科层次职业学校建设。

Adhering to industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, the college has developed 7 national online quality courses, won 2 silver medals in national vocational skills competitions, and 4 gold and silver awards in the National Rural Revitalization Skills Competition. It has been rated as an excellent unit for graduate employment in Jiangxi Province for 17 consecutive years and was selected into the Top 50 National Vocational Colleges for Service Contribution in 2025. Its educational achievements have been widely recognized by society, and it is now fully promoting the construction of an undergraduate-level vocational school.
