江西艺术职业学院是江西省唯一一所公办综合性艺术类普通高等职业院校，隶属于江西省文化和旅游厅。其前身是1951年创办的江西省文艺干部学校，历经多次更名与整合，于2002年正式升格为现名。学校地处英雄城南昌，现有庐山中大道和志敏大道两个校区，总占地面积439.84亩，全日制在校生5000余人。

Jiangxi Vocational Academy of Art is the only public comprehensive art vocational college in Jiangxi Province, affiliated to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangxi Province. Its predecessor was the Jiangxi Literary and Art Cadre School founded in 1951. After several name changes and integrations, it was officially upgraded to its current name in 2002. Located in Nanchang, the Hero City, the college has two campuses: Lushan Middle Avenue and Zhimin Avenue, covering a total area of 439.84 mu, with more than 5,000 full-time students.

学校设有音乐系、舞蹈系、戏剧影视系、艺术设计系、戏曲系、文化旅游系等7个专业系部，开设舞蹈表演、音乐表演、戏剧影视表演、数字媒体艺术设计等近30个专业，拥有2个国家级实训基地、2个省级实训基地及2个全国民族文化传承与创新示范点。建校70余年来，培养了包括著名导演高希希、演员邓超、舞蹈家刘震等在内的大批艺术人才，被誉为“江西艺术人才的摇篮”。

The college has 7 professional departments including Music Department, Dance Department, Drama and Film & Television Department, Art Design Department, Opera Department, and Cultural Tourism Department, offering nearly 30 majors such as Dance Performance, Music Performance, Drama and Film & Television Performance, and Digital Media Art Design. It has 2 national-level training bases, 2 provincial-level training bases, and 2 national-level示范点 for inheritance and innovation of national culture. Over the past 70 years since its establishment, it has cultivated a large number of artistic talents including famous director Gao Xixi, actor Deng Chao, and dancer Liu Zhen, and is known as "the cradle of Jiangxi artistic talents".
