江西现代职业技术学院是江西省人民政府举办、江西省教育厅代管的公办全日制高等职业院校，奠基于1978年成立的江西省建筑材料工业技工学校，2002年升格为高等职业院校并更为现名。学校是国家骨干高职院校、江西省高水平高职院校建设单位，现有艾溪湖、青山湖两个校区和共青城产教融合基地，总占地面积1043亩，固定资产总值12亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.86亿元，图书馆藏书120万册，馆舍面积和藏书总量位居省内同类院校之首。

Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College is a public full-time higher vocational college sponsored by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and managed by the Education Department of Jiangxi Province. Founded in 1978 as Jiangxi Provincial Building Materials Industry Technical School, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college and renamed to its current name in 2002. The college is a national backbone higher vocational college and a construction unit of high-level vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province. It has two campuses (Aixi Lake and Qingshan Lake) and a Gongqingcheng Industry-Education Integration Base, covering a total area of 1043 mu, with a total fixed asset value of 1.2 billion yuan, teaching equipment value of 186 million yuan, and a library collection of 1.2 million books. The library area and collection volume rank first among similar institutions in the province.

学校下设9个二级学院和1个技师教学部，开设45个高职专业，形成以材料工程、物流管理、汽车检测与维修、电子信息工程技术、建筑工程技术为主，紧密对接江西省2+6+N产业发展规划的特色专业群。现有在校生2.1万余人，教职工1074人，其中双师型教师占比76.6%。学校深化产教融合，与260多家企业建立合作关系，共建11个产业学院，牵头组建江西现代职业教育集团（国家示范性职业教育集团培育单位），获评全国高职院校产教融合100强首批院校。

The college has 9 secondary colleges and 1 technician teaching department, offering 45 higher vocational majors. It has formed characteristic professional groups focusing on materials engineering, logistics management, automobile inspection and maintenance, electronic information engineering technology, and construction engineering technology, closely aligning with Jiangxi Province's 2+6+N industrial development plan. There are over 21,000 students and 1,074 faculty members, with "double-qualified" teachers accounting for 76.6%. The college deepens industry-education integration, has established cooperative relations with more than 260 enterprises, co-built 11 industrial colleges, and led the establishment of Jiangxi Modern Vocational Education Group (a national demonstration vocational education group cultivation unit). It was selected as one of the first batch of top 100 national higher vocational colleges in industry-education integration.

学校教学科研成果丰硕，获省级以上教学成果奖23项，建成国家精品课程5门、省级精品课程119门，教师获职业院校教学能力比赛国家级一等奖4项。学生在全国职业院校技能大赛中成绩优异，2022年加权总分列全国第三。学校先后获评全国职业教育先进单位、全国高职院校魅力校园、全国节约型公共机构示范单位等荣誉称号，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college has achieved fruitful teaching and research results, winning 23 provincial and above teaching achievement awards, establishing 5 national excellent courses and 119 provincial excellent courses. Teachers have won 4 national first prizes in vocational college teaching ability competitions. Students have achieved excellent results in national vocational college skills competitions, ranking third in the country in weighted total score in 2022. The college has been successively awarded honors such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, Charming Campus of National Higher Vocational Colleges, and National Model Unit of Economical Public Institutions, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
