江西卫生职业学院是一所公办全日制医药类高等职业学院，隶属于江西省卫生健康委员会。学院前身是创办于1955年的江西省卫生学校和1958年的南昌铁路卫生学校，两校均为国家级重点中专学校。2004年6月，经江西省人民政府批准、教育部备案，两校合并升格为江西护理职业技术学院，2015年4月更名为江西卫生职业学院。

Jiangxi Health Vocational College is a public full-time medical higher vocational college affiliated to Jiangxi Provincial Health Commission. Its predecessors are Jiangxi Provincial Health School founded in 1955 and Nanchang Railway Health School founded in 1958, both of which are national key secondary vocational schools. In June 2004, approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered by the Ministry of Education, the two schools merged and upgraded to Jiangxi Nursing Vocational and Technical College, and renamed Jiangxi Health Vocational College in April 2015.

学院2012年10月整体搬迁至南昌小蓝经济开发区新校区，占地面积29万平方米，建筑面积26万平方米，拥有6万多平方米实验实训场所。现设有13个高职专业，其中国控专业2个，省级高水平优势特色专业2个；专任教师400余人，全日制在校学生1.2万余名，是江西省优质高职院校立项单位及多类医学教育联盟核心成员单位。

The college moved to its new campus in Nanchang Xiaolan Economic Development Zone in October 2012, covering an area of 290,000 square meters with a building area of 260,000 square meters, and has more than 60,000 square meters of experimental and training venues. Currently, it offers 13 higher vocational majors, including 2 national-controlled majors and 2 provincial-level high-level advantageous characteristic majors. There are over 400 full-time teachers and more than 12,000 full-time students. It is a project unit of Jiangxi high-quality higher vocational colleges and a core member unit of various medical education alliances.
