江西生物科技职业学院是隶属于江西省农业农村厅，以培养现代农业技术和乡村振兴所需人才为特色的一所涉农高职院校。学院最早溯源于1952年江西农学院中技部，历经南昌畜牧兽医学校、江西省畜牧水产学校等发展阶段，2003年6月经江西省人民政府批准升格为高职大专并更名为现名。学院是江西省示范性高等职业院校、江西省优质专科高等职业院校，2021年5月被农业农村部、教育部评为全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校。

Jiangxi Biotech Vocational College is an agricultural vocational college affiliated to Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, featuring in cultivating talents needed for modern agricultural technology and rural revitalization. The college can be traced back to the Technical Secondary Department of Jiangxi Agricultural College in 1952, and has gone through stages of development such as Nanchang Animal Husbandry and Veterinary School and Jiangxi Provincial Animal Husbandry and Fishery School. In June 2003, it was approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province to be upgraded to a higher vocational college and renamed to its current name. It is a Demonstrative Higher Vocational College in Jiangxi Province, a High-quality Junior College in Jiangxi Province, and was rated as a National Excellent School for Rural Revitalization Talent Cultivation by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Education in May 2021.

学院坐落于江西省南昌市，占地面积1023亩，校舍建筑面积31.9万平方米，教学行政用房23.64万平方米。全日制在校生12617人，设有7系2部1学院、45个招生专业，其中国家级骨干专业3个、国家级生产性实训基地4个，省级精品在线开放课程26门。学院教职工总数608人，专任教师537人，其中副高级及以上职称教师87人，博士、硕士学位教师331人。校内实践基地68个，校外实习实训基地122个，教学科研仪器设备总值1.14亿元，纸质图书71.3万册。

Located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, the college covers an area of 1,023 mu, with a building area of 319,000 square meters and teaching and administrative rooms of 236,400 square meters. There are 12,617 full-time students, 7 departments, 2 divisions, 1 college, and 45 enrollment majors, including 3 national key majors, 4 national productive training bases, and 26 provincial high-quality online open courses. The college has a total of 608 faculty members, including 537 full-time teachers, among whom 87 have associate senior titles or above, and 331 have doctoral or master's degrees. There are 68 on-campus practice bases and 122 off-campus internship and training bases, with the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaching 114 million yuan and 713,000 paper books.
