江西交通职业技术学院成立于1956年，是江西省唯一一所培养高素质交通技术技能人才的高等职业院校，被誉为“江西交通人才的摇篮”。学校始终坚持“产教融合、校企合作、工学结合、知行合一”的办学理念，立足自身优势和行业特色，致力于服务交通强国、中国制造2025创新驱动发展等国家战略，先后被确定为国家骨干高等职业院校、国家优质专科高职院校、全国交通高等职业教育示范院校、江西省高水平高等职业院校建设单位，并于2019年入选中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划建设单位。

Jiangxi Vocational and Technical College of Communications, founded in 1956, is the only higher vocational college in Jiangxi Province dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in transportation, known as "the cradle of Jiangxi transportation talents". Adhering to the educational philosophy of "integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, combination of work and study, and unity of knowledge and practice", the college leverages its advantages and industry characteristics to serve national strategies such as building a strong transportation country and the innovation-driven development of "Made in China 2025". It has been successively identified as a National Key Higher Vocational College, a National High-quality Junior College, a National Demonstrative College of Transportation Higher Vocational Education, and a Jiangxi Provincial High-level Higher Vocational College Construction Unit. In 2019, it was selected into the construction unit of the "Double High-Level Plan" for Chinese characteristic high-level vocational schools and specialties.

学校办学条件优越，占地面积850余亩，建筑面积40余万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值2.4亿元，全日制在校生1.4万余人，建有校内外实践教学基地479个。交通特色鲜明，设有路桥工程学院、汽车工程学院等11个教学院部，开设道路桥梁工程技术、新能源汽车技术等45个专科专业，其中国家级重点专业13个，道路桥梁工程技术专业群被列入教育部“双高”建设计划。师资力量雄厚，现有教职员工700余人，其中高级职称175人，建有国家级教师教学创新团队1个，荣获国家级教学成果二等奖5项。

The college boasts superior办学 conditions, covering an area of over 850 mu with a building area of more than 400,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaches 240 million yuan, and there are over 14,000 full-time students. It has established 479 internal and external practical teaching bases. With distinct transportation characteristics, the college has 11 teaching departments including the School of Road and Bridge Engineering and the School of Automotive Engineering, offering 45 specialized programs such as Road and Bridge Engineering Technology and New Energy Vehicle Technology. Among them, 13 are national key majors, and the Road and Bridge Engineering Technology professional group is included in the Ministry of Education's "Double High-Level Plan". The college has a strong faculty of over 700 staff, including 175 with senior professional titles. It has built 1 national-level teacher teaching innovation team and won 5 second prizes of national teaching achievements.
