江西工业贸易职业技术学院是经江西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，为省级示范、“省双高计划”A档高水平高职院校，隶属于江西省教育厅。学院创办于1956年，前身为江西省粮食厅干部学校，2003年升格为高职学院，现坐落于南昌市红谷滩新区红角洲高校园区，占地620亩，全日制在校生15000余人。

Jiangxi Vocational Technical College of Industry & Trade is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a provincial demonstration college and a "Provincial Double-High Plan" Grade A high-level vocational college, affiliated to the Education Department of Jiangxi Province. Founded in 1956 as the Cadre School of Jiangxi Provincial Grain Bureau, it was upgraded to a vocational college in 2003. The college is now located in Hongjiaozhou Higher Education Park, Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, covering an area of 620 mu with more than 15,000 full-time students.

学院以“明德敏行、技高志远”为校训，设有粮油食品系、机电工程系等8个教学系部，重点打造粮食储运与质量安全、工业机器人技术等6个专业群，拥有国家级骨干专业、省级教学团队及“双师型”教师占比超80%的师资队伍。近年来牵头组建全国食品智慧加工与检测产教融合共同体，与华为、京东等企业共建产业学院，并在巴基斯坦、马来西亚设立海外教育合作项目，形成“五粮文化育人”特色品牌，荣获国家教学成果奖等多项荣誉。

With the school motto "Virtue, Diligence, Proficiency, and Aspiration", the college has 8 teaching departments including the Department of Grain, Oil and Food, and the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. It focuses on building 6 professional groups such as Grain Storage and Transportation with Quality Safety, and Industrial Robot Technology. The college boasts national-level key majors, provincial teaching teams, and over 80% of "double-qualified" teachers. In recent years, it has led the establishment of the National Industry-Education Integration Community for Intelligent Food Processing and Testing, co-built industrial colleges with enterprises like Huawei and JD.com, and set up overseas education cooperation projects in Pakistan and Malaysia. It has formed the characteristic brand of "Five-Grain Culture Education" and won many honors including the National Teaching Achievement Award.
