江西传媒职业学院是经江西省人民政府批准成立的公办全日制普通高等院校，隶属江西省教育厅，是全国培养新闻出版及广播影视专门人才的主要基地之一。学院溯源于1985年创办的江西省印刷学校，历经更名与合并，2015年正式定名为江西传媒职业学院，同时挂设江西省传媒高级技工学校牌子。学院是全国传媒职业教育联盟副理事长单位、世界技能大赛印刷媒体技术项目中国（江西）集训基地，荣获全国新闻出版系统重点院校、江西省文明单位等称号。

Jiangxi Media Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. Affiliated to the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, it is one of the main bases for cultivating professionals in news publishing, radio, film and television nationwide. Tracing its roots to the Jiangxi Printing School founded in 1985, the college underwent several renamings and mergers before officially adopting its current name in 2015, while also operating as Jiangxi Media Senior Technical School. It serves as the vice-chairman unit of the National Media Vocational Education Alliance and the China (Jiangxi) Training Base for the Printing Media Technology Project of the World Skills Competition, and has been honored as a key institution in the national news publishing system and a civilized unit in Jiangxi Province.

学院拥有青山湖和蒋巷两个校区，占地面积330余亩，各级各类在校生近11000人，其中高职大专生9300余人。紧密对接传媒产业发展需求，设置影视、出版、创意、数媒、信息等五大专业群，开设专业32个，拥有中央财政重点支持专业1个、全国新闻出版行业示范专业2个。学院坚持产教融合，建有数字印刷产业化孵化中心等实训平台30余个，校外实习基地150余家，构建了“教室-实训室-产训中心-校外基地”四层递进式人才培养模式，近三年教师获省级以上教学科研奖项近170项。

The college has two campuses (Qingshanhu and Jiangxiang) covering an area of over 330 mu, with nearly 11,000 students at all levels, including more than 9,300 vocational college students. Closely aligned with the development needs of the media industry, it has established five major professional groups in film and television, publishing, creativity, digital media, and information, offering 32 majors. It boasts 1 major supported by central finance, 2 national news publishing industry demonstration majors. Adhering to industry-education integration, the college has built over 30 training platforms such as a digital printing industrialization incubation center and more than 150 off-campus internship bases, forming a four-tier progressive talent training model of "classroom-training room-industry training center-off-campus base". In the past three years, teachers have won nearly 170 provincial-level or higher teaching and research awards.
