九江职业大学1985年经教育部批准设立，是公办全日制高等职业院校，办学历史可追溯至1902年，现为江西省首批高水平高等职业院校、江西省示范性高等职业院校。学校地处世界文化遗产庐山北麓，现有濂溪和鹤问湖两个校区，共占地1530余亩，建筑面积约56万平方米，办学条件优越。

Jiujiang Vocational University was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 1985. It is a public full-time higher vocational college with a school-running history dating back to 1902. It is now one of the first batch of high-level higher vocational colleges and a demonstrative higher vocational college in Jiangxi Province. Located at the northern foot of the world cultural heritage Lushan Mountain, the university has two campuses, Lianxi and Hewenhu, covering a total area of more than 1,530 mu with a construction area of about 560,000 square meters, providing superior school-running conditions.

学校办学规模较大、专业门类齐全，现有在校生2.1万余人，教职员工近1200人；开设有14个二级学院、53个专业门类，涉及农林牧渔、土木建筑、装备制造等12个专业大类。办学特色鲜明，与中华文化促进会共同创办万里茶道茶学院，建设的天工制作坊是教育部认定的具有国际影响力的职业教育教学装备，毕业生就业率位居江西省高职院校前列。

The university has a large scale and a complete range of majors, with more than 21,000 students and nearly 1,200 faculty members. It has 14 secondary colleges and 53 majors covering 12 professional categories such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, civil engineering and construction, and equipment manufacturing. It has distinct school-running characteristics, jointly establishing the Wanli Tea Ceremony College with the Chinese Culture Promotion Association. The Tiangong Workshop built is a vocational education teaching equipment with international influence recognized by the Ministry of Education, and the employment rate of graduates ranks among the top in higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province.
