红河卫生职业学院是在创建于1958年的红河州卫生学校基础上组建的一所全日制公办高等职业院校，2012年5月正式挂牌成立并纳入国家统一招生计划，2015年12月通过云南省教育厅人才培养工作合格评估，2018年7月通过云南省教育厅高等职业院校内部质量保证体系诊断与改进工作复核。学校是云南省高水平专业群立项建设单位、教育部第二批职业院校数字校园建设试点院校、云南省职业教育信息化标杆学校培育单位、国家级节约型公共机构示范单位、云南省平安校园、云南省文明校园、云南省民族团结进步教育示范学校、红河州铸牢中华民族共同体意识教育示范学校，是国家执业医师实践技能考试基地（临床类、中医类）。

Honghe Health Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college established on the basis of Honghe Prefecture Health School founded in 1958. It was officially established in May 2012 and included in the national unified enrollment plan. In December 2015, it passed the qualification assessment of talent training by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, and in July 2018, it passed the review of the internal quality assurance system diagnosis and improvement work for higher vocational colleges by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. The college is a project construction unit for high-level professional groups in Yunnan Province, a pilot college for digital campus construction of the second batch of vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, a cultivation unit for informatization benchmark schools in vocational education in Yunnan Province, a national demonstration unit for energy-saving public institutions, a safe campus in Yunnan Province, a civilized campus in Yunnan Province, a demonstration school for national unity and progress education in Yunnan Province, a demonstration school for education on forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in Honghe Prefecture, and a national practical skills examination base for licensed physicians (clinical and traditional Chinese medicine categories).

学校占地面积39.72万平方米，有教学楼、实验实训楼、形态学实验楼、基础医学实验楼、综合实训中心、教育信息中心、体育馆、图书馆、学生公寓、食堂等校舍建筑面积19.34万平方米，校内有6个实践基地、实验实训室206间，多媒体教室171间，教学仪器设备值1亿元，图书馆藏书80.5万册。有附属医院4所、教学医院20所，省内外实践教学基地190余个。学校教职工总数489人，其中专任教师311人、硕士研究生学位专任教师108人、在职在编教师攻读博士学位7人，高学历人才比例达到34.73%；专任教师高级职称人数97人，其中正高级职称16人；双师型教师160人，双师型整体比例达62.75%，专业课教师中双师型教师比例达73.02%。

The college covers an area of 397,200 square meters, with a building area of 193,400 square meters including teaching buildings, experimental training buildings, morphological experimental buildings, basic medical experimental buildings, comprehensive training centers, educational information centers, gymnasiums, libraries, student apartments, and cafeterias. There are 6 practical bases, 206 experimental training rooms, 171 multimedia classrooms on campus, with teaching instruments and equipment worth 100 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 805,000 books. It has 4 affiliated hospitals, 20 teaching hospitals, and more than 190 practical teaching bases inside and outside the province. The college has a total of 489 faculty members, including 311 full-time teachers, 108 full-time teachers with master's degrees, and 7 in-service teachers pursuing doctoral degrees, with the proportion of high-educated talents reaching 34.73%. There are 97 full-time teachers with senior professional titles, including 16 with professor titles; 160 double-qualified teachers, with the overall proportion of double-qualified teachers reaching 62.75%, and the proportion of double-qualified teachers among professional course teachers reaching 73.02%.

学校积极开设边疆少数民族地区卫生健康事业发展所急需、与生物医药大健康产业相适应的医药卫生类专业，现有临床医学、口腔医学、中医学、预防医学、针灸推拿、护理、助产、药学、中药学、医学检验技术、医学影像技术、康复治疗技术、眼视光技术、口腔医学技术、中医康复技术、医学美容技术、药品经营与管理、老年保健与管理、健康大数据管理与服务、医学营养、婴幼儿托育服务与管理、中医养生保健22个大专专业。有省级一流党建示范党支部1个、州级规范化建设示范党支部2个。4支教学团队进入云南省职业教育教师教学创新团队立项建设。

The college actively offers medical and health majors that are urgently needed for the development of health undertakings in border ethnic minority areas and adapted to the biopharmaceutical and big health industry. Currently, it has 22 college-level majors including Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, Chinese Materia Medica, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Optometry Technology, Stomatological Technology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Cosmetology Technology, Pharmaceutical Operation and Management, Geriatric Health Care and Management, Health Big Data Management and Service, Medical Nutrition, Infant Care Service and Management, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Preservation. It has 1 provincial first-class party building demonstration party branch and 2 prefectural standardized construction demonstration party branches. 4 teaching teams have been included in the project construction of Yunnan Provincial Vocational Education Teacher Teaching Innovation Teams.
