河南医学高等专科学校是经河南省人民政府批准设置的公办医学普通高等专科学校，创办于1952年，历经河南省卫生干部学校、河南卫生职工学院等发展阶段，2013年升格为现名。学校秉持“厚德、博学、笃行、致远”的校训，弘扬“自强不息、百折不挠、艰苦奋斗、无私奉献”的医专精神，立足河南、面向基层，培养高素质医疗卫生技术技能人才。

Henan Medical College is a public medical college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province. Founded in 1952, it has undergone development stages such as Henan Health Cadre School and Henan Health Workers College, and was upgraded to its current name in 2013. Upholding the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practice, and Aspiration", the college promotes the spirit of "self-improvement, perseverance, hard work, and dedication", rooted in Henan and oriented towards grassroots communities to cultivate high-quality medical and health technical talents.

学校现有南北两个校区，分别位于郑州市新郑教育园区和金水区，总占地面积80.79万平方米，校舍建筑面积42.06万平方米。开设临床医学、护理、药学等27个专业（方向），其中国家级示范专业1个、省级特色专业及改革试点专业5个。拥有教职工560余人，双师素质教师占比40%，全日制在校生1.2万余人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在90%以上。

The college has two campuses (South and North) located in Xinzheng Education Park and Jinshui District of Zhengzhou, covering a total area of 807,900 square meters with a building area of 420,600 square meters. It offers 27 majors (directions) including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy, among which 1 is a national demonstration major and 5 are provincial characteristic majors or reform pilot majors. With over 560 faculty members (40% being "double-qualified" teachers) and more than 12,000 full-time students, its graduate employment rate has remained above 90% for many years.

作为河南省“高职双高工程”建设单位，学校建有112个校外实习基地及省级重点实验室，承担国家自然科学基金项目，年均培训卫生技术人员1.2万人次。先后荣获省级文明单位、河南省职业教育先进集体等荣誉，为区域医疗卫生事业发展作出重要贡献。

As a construction unit of Henan Province's "Higher Vocational Double-High Project", the college has 112 off-campus internship bases and provincial key laboratories, undertakes National Natural Science Foundation projects, and trains 12,000 health technicians annually. It has successively won honors such as "Provincial Civilized Unit" and "Advanced Collective of Vocational Education in Henan", making important contributions to regional medical and health development.
