河南水利与环境职业学院是经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的省属公办高等职业院校，前身为1955年创办的河南省水利学校，2013年独立升格为现名。学校以水利、环境类专业为特色，是全国水利职业教育示范院校、河南省优质高等职业院校，入选教育部第三批现代学徒制试点单位及1+X证书制度试点院校。

Henan Vocational College of Water Conservancy and Environment is a public higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Henan Water Conservancy School founded in 1955, and it was independently upgraded to its current name in 2013. Featuring water conservancy and environmental majors, the college is a National Model Vocational College for Water Conservancy Education, a Henan Provincial High-Quality Higher Vocational College, and has been selected as the third batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units and 1+X certificate system pilot institutions by the Ministry of Education.

学校现有郑州花园路、郑州航空港、信阳、漯河四个校区，总占地面积708亩，全日制在校生近2.3万人。设有10个教学系部，开设59个专业，形成以水利水电建筑工程、环境工程技术为核心的10个专业群，其中国家级骨干专业2个，省级高水平专业群1个。教学仪器设备总值1.3亿元，建有22个校内仿真实训中心及102个校外实习基地。

The college has four campuses in Zhengzhou Huayuan Road, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, Xinyang and Luohe, covering a total area of 708 mu, with nearly 23,000 full-time students. It has 10 teaching departments and offers 59 majors, forming 10 professional groups with Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering, and Environmental Engineering Technology as the core, including 2 national-level key majors and 1 provincial-level high-level professional group. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 130 million yuan, with 22 on-campus simulation training centers and 102 off-campus internship bases.

师资力量方面，现有专兼职教师800余人，其中高级职称教师160人，博士、硕士学位教师461人，拥有国家级职业教育教师创新团队1个，省级教学创新团队2个。近年来获国家级教学成果奖1项，省级教学成果奖3项，建有国家级环境工程技术协同创新中心等多个科研平台，为区域水利、环保行业培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

In terms of faculty, there are more than 800 full-time and part-time teachers, including 160 senior title teachers and 461 teachers with doctoral or master's degrees. It has 1 national-level vocational education teacher innovation team and 2 provincial-level teaching innovation teams. In recent years, it has won 1 national teaching achievement award and 3 provincial teaching achievement awards, and has built multiple scientific research platforms such as the National Environmental Engineering Technology Collaborative Innovation Center, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical talents for regional water conservancy and environmental protection industries.
