河南农业职业学院创建于1952年10月，坐落于郑州，是一所公办全日制高等院校。学校现为国家“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位、国家优质高职院校以及国家骨干高职院校。历经郑州中等农林技术学校、河南省农业学校等发展阶段，于2004年独立升格为河南农业职业学院。

Henan Vocational College of Agriculture was founded in October 1952 and is located in Zhengzhou. It is a public full-time higher education institution. The college is currently a national "Double-High Plan" high-level professional group construction unit, a national high-quality vocational college, and a national backbone vocational college. It has gone through development stages such as Zhengzhou Secondary Agricultural and Forestry Technical School and Henan Agricultural School, and was independently upgraded to Henan Vocational College of Agriculture in 2004.

学校占地总面积达1350余亩，设有洛阳分院以及现代种业学院、智慧农业学院等16个二级学院。2025年备案并计划招生50个全日制高职专业，覆盖现代农业、现代制造业、现代服务业等多个产业领域，全日制高职在校生15000人。此外，学校还拥有一支高素质的教师队伍，其中教授53人、副教授285人，并有国家“万人计划”教学名师、国务院特殊津贴专家等各类高层次人才110人。

The college covers a total area of more than 1,350 mu and has a Luoyang branch, as well as 16 secondary colleges including the College of Modern Seed Industry and the College of Smart Agriculture. In 2025, it has filed and plans to enroll 50 full-time higher vocational majors, covering multiple industrial fields such as modern agriculture, modern manufacturing, and modern service industry, with 15,000 full-time higher vocational students. In addition, the college has a high-quality teaching team, including 53 professors, 285 associate professors, and 110 various high-level talents such as national "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" teaching masters and experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council.

作为国家首批现代学徒制试点高职院校和国家乡村振兴人才培养优质校，河南农业职业学院始终致力于培养适应社会发展需求的技术型、应用型人才。学校不仅在教学方面成绩斐然，还积极开展教研科研工作，教师累计获得国家级、省（部）级、市（厅）级教研科研成果奖励300余项，为区域经济社会发展作出了重要贡献。
