河南工业和信息化职业学院隶属于河南省教育厅，是经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制专科层次普通高等院校。学校创建于1975年，历经河南省煤矿学校、焦作煤炭工业学校、河南工程技术学校、河南理工大学高等职业学院等时期，2013年3月正式更名为河南工业和信息化职业学院。学校坐落在河南省焦作市新区碧莲路801号，占地面积777亩，与郑州隔河相望，郑焦城际铁路半小时可达，交通便利，环境优雅。

Henan College of Industry and Information Technology is a public full-time vocational college under the Department of Education of Henan Province, approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1975, the college has gone through stages such as Henan Coal Mine School, Jiaozuo Coal Industry School, Henan Engineering and Technical School, and Higher Vocational College of Henan Polytechnic University. It was officially renamed Henan College of Industry and Information Technology in March 2013. Located at No. 801 Bilian Road, New District, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, the college covers an area of 777 mu, facing Zhengzhou across the river, with convenient transportation via Zhengzhou-Jiaozuo Intercity Railway (30-minute ride) and an elegant environment.

学校以工业和信息化为特色，构建了资源环境与安全、装备制造、土木建筑、电子信息、财经商贸五大专业群，开设54个高职专业及方向，其中机电一体化技术专业群入选河南省“双高计划”高水平专业群建设项目。现有专任教师681人，硕士以上学位教师314人，“双师型”教师比例超50%；在校生1.6万余人，建有105个现代化校内实验实训室和49个稳定的校外实训基地，实验实训开出率100%，先后荣获“河南省优质高等职业院校”“全国煤炭系统文明单位”等称号，被誉为煤炭行业的“黄埔军校”。

With industry and information technology as its特色, the college has established five major professional groups: Resource Environment and Safety, Equipment Manufacturing, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Electronic Information, and Finance and Trade, offering 54 higher vocational majors and directions. Among them, the Mechatronics Technology professional group was selected into Henan Province's "Double High-Level Plan" for high-level professional group construction. The college has 681 full-time teachers, including 314 with master's degree or above, and over 50% of "double-qualified" teachers. There are more than 16,000 students, with 105 modern on-campus experimental training rooms and 49 stable off-campus training bases, achieving a 100% experimental training utilization rate. It has been awarded titles such as "Henan Provincial High-Quality Higher Vocational College" and "National Civilized Unit in the Coal Industry", and is known as the "Whampoa Military Academy" of the coal industry.
