河南工业贸易职业学院是经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，始建于1950年，前身为河南省财政厅粮食干部训练班，历经河南省粮食干部学校、河南省经济贸易学校等发展阶段，2005年正式升格为高等职业学院。学校以粮食类专业为特色，形成了工、理、经、管、文、艺等多学科协调发展的专业体系，现有13个教学单位、50个专业（方向），在校生2.3万余人，被誉为“粮食人才的摇篮”。

Henan Industry and Trade Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1950, its predecessor was the Grain Cadre Training Class of Henan Provincial Department of Finance. It has gone through stages of development such as Henan Grain Cadre School and Henan Economic and Trade School, and was officially upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2005. With grain-related majors as its特色, the college has formed a multidisciplinary professional system with coordinated development of engineering, science, economics, management, literature, and art. It currently has 13 teaching units, 50 majors (directions), and more than 23,000 students, known as "the cradle of grain talents".

学校拥有郑州优胜校区和新郑龙湖校区，总占地531.7亩，教学科研仪器设备总值2亿元，馆藏图书112万余册。其中国家级骨干专业2个（物流管理、计算机应用技术），省级高水平专业群1个（电子商务），建有115个实训实验室及68个校内实践基地，与中粮集团等企业深度开展产教融合，先后荣获“国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖”“河南省高水平高等职业学校”等称号。

The college has two campuses: Yousheng Campus in Zhengzhou and Longhu Campus in Xinzheng, covering a total area of 531.7 mu. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 200 million yuan, with a collection of more than 1.12 million books. It has 2 national-level key majors (Logistics Management, Computer Application Technology), 1 provincial high-level professional group (E-commerce), 115 training laboratories and 68 on-campus practice bases. It deeply carries out industry-education integration with enterprises such as COFCO Group, and has successively won titles such as "National Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talents Cultivation" and "Henan Provincial High-level Vocational College".
