赣州师范高等专科学校是2013年经江西省人民政府批准、教育部备案，在原赣南教育学院基础上改制的全日制普通高等学校，先后整合吸纳赣州师范学校、赣南文艺学校等多所师范教育资源，其办学历史可追溯至1903年创建的虔南师范学堂。学校位于赣州市蓉江新区高校园区，占地1000亩，建筑面积31万平方米，建筑融合后现代欧式风格与赣南客家围屋元素，获评江西省十大最美校园。

Ganzhou Normal College is a full-time public higher education institution approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2013. It was restructured from the former Gannan Education College and has integrated educational resources from multiple normal schools including Ganzhou Normal School and Gannan School of Arts. Its educational history dates back to the Qiannan Normal School founded in 1903. Located in the Higher Education Park of Rongjiang New District, Ganzhou City, the campus covers an area of 1,000 mu with a construction area of 310,000 square meters. The architectural design combines post-modern European style with elements of赣南 Hakka enclosed houses, and it has been rated as one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Campuses in Jiangxi Province".

学校以教师教育为特色，设有10个教学系（部、院），涵盖10个师范专业与23个非师范专业，形成"师范教育优势突出、职业教育特色鲜明"的发展格局。现有全日制在校生1.2万余人，教职工640余人，其中高级职称教师173人、博士16人。建校以来累计培养超10万名师资人才，涌现出《资本论》译者郭大力、开国上将陈奇涵等杰出校友，被誉为"赣南基础教育师资培养的摇篮"。

With teacher education as its core strength, the college has 10 teaching departments offering 10 teacher education programs and 23 non-teacher education programs, forming a development pattern featuring "prominent advantages in teacher education and distinctive characteristics in vocational education". It currently has over 12,000 full-time students and more than 640 faculty members, including 173 senior title teachers and 16 doctoral degree holders. Since its establishment, the college has cultivated over 100,000 qualified teachers and applied talents, producing distinguished alumni such as Guo Dali (translator of "Das Kapital") and Chen Qihan (founding general of the People's Liberation Army). It is praised as "the cradle of basic education teachers in southern Jiangxi".
