贵州传媒职业学院2023年经贵州省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案，隶属贵州省广播电视局，是西南地区唯一一所传媒类的公办全日制普通高等职业院校。学校位于贵州省贵阳市清镇职教城乡愁大道50号，占地362亩，建筑面积17.8万平方米。现有专任教师176人，其中教授、博士（含在读）3人，双师型教师98人。

Guizhou Media Vocational College was established in 2023 with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television, it is the only public full-time higher vocational college specializing in media in Southwest China. Located at No. 50 Xiangchou Avenue, Qingzhen Vocational Education City, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, the college covers an area of 362 mu with a building area of 178,000 square meters. It has 176 full-time teachers, including 3 professors and doctoral candidates (including those studying for doctoral degrees), and 98 dual-qualified teachers.

学校聚焦新时代传媒教育，推进交叉学科建设，开设涵盖新闻传播、文化艺术、电子与信息、财经商贸、旅游、教育与体育6个专业大类的高职专业。立足广电、面向传媒，长期深耕广电传媒领域，为贵州乃至西南地区培养了数以万计的广电传媒类管理干部和高素质技术技能人才，被行业誉为“贵州传媒人才培养的黄埔军校”。

The college focuses on media education in the new era, promotes interdisciplinary construction, and offers higher vocational majors covering 6 professional categories: journalism and communication, culture and art, electronics and information, finance and commerce, tourism, education and sports. Based on radio and television and facing the media industry, it has long been deeply engaged in the radio and television media field, cultivating tens of thousands of radio and television media management cadres and high-quality technical and skilled talents for Guizhou and even Southwest China, and is praised by the industry as "the Whampoa Military Academy for media talent training in Guizhou".
