甘肃卫生职业学院是经甘肃省人民政府批准设置、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等学校，隶属甘肃省教育厅，其前身是创建于1956年的甘肃省卫生学校。学校是首批全国护理专业技能型紧缺人才示范性培训基地，首批全国职业院校健康服务类示范专业点，全国卫生职业教育教学指导委员会委员及护理分委会主任委员单位，中华医学会全国卫生职业教育研究会常务副主任和秘书长单位。

Gansu Health Vocational College is a public full-time regular higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Gansu Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Gansu Provincial Department of Education, its predecessor was Gansu Provincial Health School founded in 1956. The college is among the first batch of national demonstration training bases for skilled and urgently needed nursing talents, the first batch of national vocational college demonstration professional points for health services, a member unit of the National Health Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee and the director unit of the Nursing Sub-committee, as well as the executive deputy director and secretary-general unit of the National Health Vocational Education Research Association of the Chinese Medical Association.

学校现有兰州新区、城关区五里铺两个校区，占地面积1537亩，全日制在校生12972人，教职工总数635人。开设临床医学、护理、口腔医学技术等18个专业，形成门类齐全的卫生健康高职教育专业群，其中护理、口腔医学技术为教育部认定的骨干专业，2024年以优秀等级完成省级首批双高建设。

The college currently has two campuses: Lanzhou New District and Wulipu in Chengguan District, covering an area of 1537 mu. It has 12,972 full-time students and 635 faculty members. Offering 18 majors including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Stomatology Technology, it has formed a comprehensive professional group of health vocational education. Among them, Nursing and Stomatology Technology are key majors recognized by the Ministry of Education. In 2024, it successfully completed the first batch of provincial "Double High-Level" construction with excellent grades.
