甘肃农业职业技术学院肇始于1906年（光绪三十二年）兰州道道尹彭英甲创办的农林学堂，历经多次更名与发展，2004年升格为高等职业院校。学校是省属公办农工商贸旅一体化高等职业院校，坐落于甘肃省兰州市城关区段家滩路425号，现有校本部与和平校区，占地面积330亩，在校学生11619名，其中包括吉尔吉斯斯坦籍留学生2名。

Gansu Vocational College of Agriculture originated from the农林 school founded by Peng Yingjia, the Daoyin of Lanzhou in 1906 (the 32nd year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty). After several renamings and developments, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004. The college is a provincial public higher vocational college integrating agriculture, industry, commerce, trade and tourism. It is located at No. 425, Duanjiatan Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It has a main campus and a Heping campus, covering an area of 330 mu, with 11,619 students, including 2 international students from Kyrgyzstan.

学校以“勤朴耕读，守正创新”为校训，围绕“一核三带”和“四强行动”战略，开设农林牧、生物与化工、财经商贸、食品药品与粮食、文旅与康养等专业大类，建有国家级省级骨干（特色）专业和生产性实训基地。先后被认定为全国新型职业农民培训基地、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校、全国职业教育种植类专业示范学校等，是甘肃现代农业职教集团和甘肃康养职教集团理事长单位。

With the school motto of "Diligent, Simple, Farming, Reading, Upholding Integrity and Innovating", the college focuses on the strategies of "One Core, Three Belts" and "Four Strong Actions". It offers major categories such as agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry, biology and chemical engineering, finance and commerce, food, medicine and grain, culture, tourism and health care. It has national and provincial key (characteristic) majors and productive training bases. It has been successively recognized as a national training base for new professional farmers, a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training, a national demonstration school for vocational education planting majors, etc. It is the chairman unit of Gansu Modern Agricultural Vocational Education Group and Gansu Health Care Vocational Education Group.
