甘肃财贸职业学院于2016年2月29日经甘肃省人民政府批准设立，由省政府举办，隶属于省教育厅，是全省唯一一所公立全日制财经商贸类普通高等职业院校。学院由原兰州服装职工大学及甘肃银行学校、甘肃省经济学校等七所省属中等专业学校整合升格而成，办学历史可追溯至新中国成立初期。学院现有兰州新区职教园区和兰州市七里河区两个校区，校园总面积1400多亩，建筑面积30万平方米，投入总资金15亿多元，建有云计算数据中心、现代物流实训中心等60多个实验实训基地，教学设备总值达2亿元。

Gansu Finance and Trade Vocational College was approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government on February 29, 2016. Sponsored by the provincial government and affiliated to the Provincial Department of Education, it is the only public full-time higher vocational college specializing in finance and trade in Gansu Province. The college was upgraded by integrating the former Lanzhou Garment Workers' University and seven provincial secondary specialized schools including Gansu Banking School and Gansu Economic School, with its educational history dating back to the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The college now has two campuses in Lanzhou New District Vocational Education Park and Qilihe District of Lanzhou City, covering a total area of over 1,400 mu with a building area of 300,000 square meters and a total investment of more than 1.5 billion yuan. It has built over 60 experimental and training bases such as cloud computing data center and modern logistics training center, with teaching equipment worth 200 million yuan.

学院设有会计金融学院、物流学院、经济管理学院等10个教学机构，开设大数据与会计、现代物流管理、跨境电子商务等36个高职专业，现有教职工807人，其中教授27人、副教授177人，双师型教师263人，在校生近19000余人。学院秉承“崇德尚能、博修商道”的校训，先后荣获教育部“一站式”学生社区综合管理模式建设试点单位、全国粮食安全宣传教育基地等多项荣誉，致力于培养适应西部经济社会发展的高素质技术技能型财经商贸人才。

The college has 10 teaching institutions including the School of Accounting and Finance, School of Logistics, and School of Economic Management, offering 36 higher vocational majors such as Big Data and Accounting, Modern Logistics Management, and Cross-border E-commerce. It currently has 807 faculty members, including 27 professors, 177 associate professors, and 263 double-qualified teachers, with nearly 19,000 students. Adhering to the school motto of "Upholding Morality and Ability, Extensively Cultivating Business Ethics", the college has successively won many honors such as the pilot unit for the construction of the "One-stop" student community comprehensive management model by the Ministry of Education and the National Food Security Publicity and Education Base, committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled finance and trade talents adapting to the economic and social development in western China.
