抚州职业技术学院是2003年6月经江西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，在原江西省重点中专抚州经贸学校和抚州农校基础上，融入抚州文艺学校教学资源组建，2007年又整合江西机械电子技工学校、抚州市技工学校而成的公办全日制普通高等专科学校。学院坐落在江西省抚州市新东城教育园区，占地面积941亩，建筑面积26万平方米，设有机电工程、艺术、经济管理等7个教学分院及3个教辅机构，开设数控技术、工业机器人、电子商务等30余个专业，现有教职工509人，其中专任教师405人，高级职称教师101人，在校学生近万人。

Fuzhou Vocational and Technical College was approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province in June 2003 and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It was established on the basis of the former key technical secondary schools in Jiangxi Province, namely Fuzhou Economic and Trade School and Fuzhou Agricultural School, integrating the teaching resources of Fuzhou School of Arts. In 2007, it was further integrated with Jiangxi Mechanical and Electronic Technical School and Fuzhou Technical School to form a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college. Located in the New East City Education Park of Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, the college covers an area of 941 mu with a building area of 260,000 square meters. It has 7 teaching branches including Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Art, and Economic Management, as well as 3 auxiliary teaching institutions. It offers more than 30 majors such as Numerical Control Technology, Industrial Robotics, and E-commerce. Currently, the college has 509 faculty members, including 405 full-time teachers and 101 teachers with senior professional titles, and nearly 10,000 students on campus.

学院秉承“明德、尚能、笃实、创新”的办学理念，坚持“立足高新区，服务抚州市”的办学定位，注重实践教学与校企合作，拥有各类专业实训实验场所41个，计算机1500余台，图书馆藏书30万册，电子图书4000GB。近年来荣获全国第三批职业院校数字校园建设实验校、国家级公共机构节能示范单位、全国国防教育特色学校等荣誉，在全国职业技能大赛中多次斩获佳绩，正着力建设以机电一体化和民航服务运输为核心的省级高水平专业群，向现代化职业教育院校目标迈进。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Virtue, Ability, Diligence, and Innovation" and the orientation of "Based on the High-tech Zone, Serving Fuzhou City", the college emphasizes practical teaching and school-enterprise cooperation. It has 41 professional training and experimental sites, more than 1,500 computers, a library with 300,000 paper books, and 4,000 GB of electronic books. In recent years, it has been awarded honors such as the third batch of national vocational college digital campus construction experimental schools, national public institution energy conservation demonstration units, and national defense education characteristic schools. It has also achieved excellent results in national vocational skills competitions. Currently, the college is focusing on building provincial-level high-level professional groups centered on Mechatronics and Civil Aviation Service Transportation, striving to become a modern vocational education institution.
