福建艺术职业学院是福建省文化和旅游厅主管的公办全日制综合性高等艺术院校，其前身可追溯至1958年创办的福建艺术专科学校，2005年经福建省人民政府批准正式组建为高职院校。学校始终坚守“立德树人”根本任务，牢记习近平总书记“八闽艺苑春常在，丰碑应树育花人”的重要批示，2021年入选福建省高水平职业院校和专业建设计划单位，是中国非遗传承人群研修研习培训计划首批试点高校。

Fujian Vocational College of Art is a public full-time comprehensive higher art institution under the administration of Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Its predecessor can be traced back to Fujian Art College founded in 1958, and it was officially established as a higher vocational college with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government in 2005. Adhering to the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education", the college keeps in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction that "the art garden of Fujian will always be prosperous, and the monument should be built for the flower cultivators". In 2021, it was selected as a unit of Fujian Provincial High-level Vocational Colleges and Professional Construction Plan, and is one of the first pilot colleges for the National Inheritance人群 Research and Training Program of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

学校位于福州市闽侯县，占地200亩，建筑面积约7万平方米，设有音乐系、美术系、舞蹈系、戏剧系等教学单位，开设音乐表演、舞蹈表演、艺术设计、戏曲表演、茶文化等30余个艺术类专业，形成大专、中专相结合的多层次艺术教育体系。师资队伍以文化部属艺术高校毕业生和省属表演团体骨干为主体，双师素质教师占比65.2%，拥有国际级非物质文化遗产项目代表性传承人1人。建校以来培养了大批优秀艺术人才，其中戏曲表演“梅花奖”得主5人，毕业生就业率持续保持高位，专业技能和从业素质广受用人单位好评。

Located in Minhou County, Fuzhou City, the college covers an area of 200 mu with a construction area of about 70,000 square meters. It has teaching units such as the Department of Music, Department of Fine Arts, Department of Dance, and Department of Drama, offering more than 30 art majors including Music Performance, Dance Performance, Art Design, Opera Performance, and Tea Culture, forming a multi-level art education system combining junior college and technical secondary school. The teaching staff is mainly composed of graduates from art colleges directly under the Ministry of Culture and backbone of provincial performing troupes, with 65.2% of "double-qualified" teachers and 1 representative inheritor of international intangible cultural heritage projects. Since its establishment, it has cultivated a large number of outstanding artistic talents, including 5 winners of the "Plum Blossom Award" for opera performance. The employment rate of graduates remains high, and their professional skills and professional quality are widely praised by employers.
