福建信息职业技术学院是福建省教育厅直属的公办全日制高等职业院校，以工科为主、工商结合，信息技术特色鲜明。学校办学历史可追溯至1906年创办的福建官立商业学堂和福州青年会书院，2003年由福建电子工业学校、福建工程学校、福建省商业学校三所国家级重点中专合并升格组建。作为国家“双高计划”高水平专业群A类建设单位、首批国家示范性骨干高职院校，学校现有龙腰、杜园、平潭三个校区，开设物联网应用技术、智能制造、商贸管理等37个专科专业，全日制在校生超1.1万人，教职工591人，其中双师型教师占比达68%。

Fujian Polytechnic of Information Technology is a public full-time higher vocational college directly under the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, focusing on engineering with integrated business disciplines and distinctive information technology features. Tracing its roots to the 1906-founded Fujian Official Commercial School and Fuzhou Young Men's Christian Association College, it was elevated in 2003 through the merger of three national key technical secondary schools. As a national "Double High-Level Plan" Group A construction unit and one of the first national model backbone vocational colleges, it operates three campuses (Longyao, Duyuan, Pingtan) with 37 specialized programs including IoT application technology, intelligent manufacturing, and business management. The college boasts over 11,000 full-time students and 591 faculty members, with 68% being "dual-qualification" teachers.

学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，构建“知识-技能-素质”三位一体人才培养模式，近五年学生获全国职业院校技能大赛一等奖13项，连续十年蝉联福建省高职院校技能大赛团体总分冠军。依托国家级创新创业学院平台，与阿里巴巴、富士康等200余家企业深化产教融合，建有3个国家级实训基地和8个省级教学团队，毕业生就业率连续保持98%以上，培养了包括中国科学院院士唐仲璋、郑作新在内的7万余名高素质技术技能人才，被誉为“福建信息技术人才的摇篮”。

Adhering to the fundamental task of moral education, the college has developed a "knowledge-skill-quality" trinity talent cultivation model. Its students have won 13 first prizes in national vocational college skill competitions over the past five years and claimed the team championship in Fujian Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition for ten consecutive years. Leveraging its national-level innovation and entrepreneurship college platform, it has deepened industry-education integration with over 200 enterprises including Alibaba and Foxconn, establishing 3 national-level training bases and 8 provincial-level teaching teams. With a graduate employment rate consistently exceeding 98%, it has cultivated over 70,000 high-quality technical talents, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Tang Zhongzhang and Zheng Zuoxin, earning it the reputation as "the cradle of Fujian's information technology talents."
