福建电力职业技术学院是经福建省人民政府批准设立的公办高等职业院校，由国网福建省电力有限公司举办，教育教学业务由福建省教育厅管理。学院前身为1984年创办的泉州电力学校，2003年升格为大专院校，以全日制高职教育为主，同时开展职工培训、技能鉴定、继续教育等工作。学校坐落于福建省泉州市，现有丰泽、洛江两个校区及清源、乐峰两个实训基地，校园面积近500亩，建筑面积约15万平方米。

Fujian Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. Sponsored by State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd., its educational and teaching affairs are managed by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. Formerly known as Quanzhou Electric Power School founded in 1984, it was upgraded to a junior college in 2003. The college mainly conducts full-time higher vocational education, while also carrying out staff training, skill appraisal, continuing education and other work. Located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, the college has two campuses (Fengze and Luojiang) and two training bases (Qingyuan and Lefeng), covering an area of nearly 500 mu with a building area of about 150,000 square meters.

学院专业设置以电力技术类为核心，开设发电厂及电力系统、供用电技术、电力系统自动化技术、输配电工程技术等多个电力相关专业，面向全国13个省（市、区）招生。依托行业优势，学院深化产教融合、校企合作，建有国家级生产性实训基地、中央财政支持实训基地及省级智能输配电产业学院，形成了“校企协同、工学结合”的人才培养模式。近年来荣获“国家级高技能人才培训基地”“福建省文明学校”等称号，为电力行业培养了大批技术技能型人才。

The college's majors focus on electric power technology, offering multiple electricity-related programs such as Power Plant and Power System, Power Supply and Utilization Technology, Power System Automation Technology, and Power Transmission and Distribution Engineering Technology, enrolling students from 13 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country. Relying on industry advantages, the college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, and has built national productive training bases, central finance-supported training bases, and a provincial intelligent power transmission and distribution industry college, forming a talent training model of "school-enterprise collaboration and work-study integration". In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "National High-skilled Talent Training Base" and "Fujian Civilized School", cultivating a large number of technical and skilled talents for the electric power industry.
