青岛滨海学院始建于1992年，2005年成为山东省首批（两所）民办本科高校，2009年具备学士学位授予权，2017年被确定为山东省硕士学位授予立项培育建设单位，2019年与青岛大学联合培养硕士研究生，2021年被省教育厅遴选为山东省应用型本科高校建设支持单位。学校设立14个教学单位，开设49个本科专业、28个专科专业，涵盖工学、医学、文学、经济学、管理学、艺术学、教育学等学科门类，现有全日制在校生26600余人，外籍留学生100余人，办学30年来累计培养12万余名毕业生。

Qingdao Binhai University was founded in 1992. In 2005, it became one of the first two private undergraduate universities in Shandong Province. It obtained the right to grant bachelor's degrees in 2009, was identified as a project cultivation unit for granting master's degrees in Shandong Province in 2017, and began joint training of postgraduate students with Qingdao University in 2019. In 2021, it was selected as a support unit for the construction of applied undergraduate universities in Shandong Province by the Provincial Department of Education. The university has 14 teaching units, offering 49 undergraduate programs and 28 junior college programs, covering engineering, medicine, literature, economics, management, art, education and other disciplines. It has more than 26,600 full-time students and over 100 international students. Over the past 30 years of running the school, it has cultivated more than 120,000 graduates.

学校秉承“以兴教育才为己任，以利民报国为目的”办学宗旨，以培养“明德、践行、善事、创新之现代公民”为育人目标，坚持“要学做事，先学做人；人人有才，人人成才”育人理念。学校位于青岛市西海岸新区，占地1200余亩，投入使用总面积100余万平方米，教学仪器设备总值2.68亿元，现有图书馆4座，纸质藏书260.6万册，电子图书140万种，建有15个实践教学中心及277个校外实习实训基地，其中包括五星级标准的国际学术交流中心和国家级科普教育基地——世界动物自然生态博物馆。

The university adheres to the school-running purpose of "taking education and talent development as its responsibility, and serving the people and the country as its purpose", and takes cultivating "modern citizens with virtue, practice, good deeds and innovation" as its educational goal, adhering to the educational philosophy of "learn to be a person before learning to do things; everyone has talent, and everyone can become a talent". The university is located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, covering an area of more than 1,200 mu, with a total area of more than 1 million square meters put into use. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 268 million yuan. There are 4 libraries with 2.606 million paper books and 1.4 million kinds of e-books. It has built 15 practical teaching centers and 277 off-campus internship and training bases, including the five-star international academic exchange center and the World Animal Natural Ecology Museum, a national science popularization education base.

学校现有专任教师1584人，其中高级职称578人，博士、硕士学位者1433人，硕博教师占比90.47%。拥有教育部综合改革专业、山东省一流本科专业等省部级重点专业16个，山东省一流本科课程、精品课程28门。毕业生正式就业率始终位列全省本科高校前茅，2015年被教育部评为“全国高校毕业生就业50强高校”，并先后荣获“全国德育先进典型”“中国民办高等教育优秀院校”“山东省文明校园”等称号。

The university has 1,584 full-time teachers, including 578 with senior titles, 1,433 with doctoral and master's degrees, accounting for 90.47% of the total teachers. It has 16 provincial-level key majors such as the comprehensive reform major of the Ministry of Education and Shandong first-class undergraduate majors, and 28 Shandong first-class undergraduate courses and excellent courses. The formal employment rate of graduates has always been among the top undergraduate universities in the province. In 2015, it was rated as one of the "Top 50 Universities for Graduate Employment in China" by the Ministry of Education, and has successively won titles such as "National Advanced Model for Moral Education", "Excellent Private Higher Education Institution in China" and "Civilized Campus of Shandong Province".
