安徽文达信息工程学院是拥有学士学位授予权的省属普通本科高校，坐落于合肥市国家4A级风景区紫蓬山下，堰湾湖畔。学校2001年成立，2011年经教育部批准升格为全日制普通本科高校，2015年通过学士学位授予权评审，2020年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，2024年获批安徽省硕士学位授予立项建设单位。诺贝尔物理学奖获得者杨振宁教授曾两次亲临学校指导工作，并亲笔题写校名。

Anhui Wenda University of Information Engineering is a provincial ordinary undergraduate university with the right to grant bachelor's degrees, located at the foot of Zipeng Mountain, a national 4A-level scenic spot, and by Yanwan Lake in Hefei City. Founded in 2001, the university was upgraded to a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2011. It passed the evaluation for the right to grant bachelor's degrees in 2015, the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching by the Ministry of Education in 2020, and was approved as a project construction unit for granting master's degrees in Anhui Province in 2024. Professor杨振宁 (Chen-Ning Yang), Nobel laureate in physics, has visited the university twice to guide work and inscribed the school name in his own handwriting.

学校占地面积703.71亩，校舍建筑面积26.6万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值一亿多元，馆藏纸质图书一百余万册，数字图书期刊资源65TB，教师总数850余人，其中专任教师600余人，全日制在校生13500余人。现有计算机工程、电子电气工程、智能制造、城市建设、会计、商贸、艺术设计、影视传媒、马克思主义和通识教育等10个二级学院，2个公共教学部，设有智能技术研究所、淮军文化研究中心，1个国家级大学生校外实训基地，1个国家职业教育实训基地，4个省级示范实验实训中心，5个省级校企合作实践教育基地。

The university covers an area of 703.71 mu (about 46.91 hectares), with a school building area of 266,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment exceeds 100 million yuan, the library has more than 1 million paper books, and 65TB of digital books and periodicals resources. There are over 850 teachers, including more than 600 full-time teachers, and over 13,500 full-time students. It has 10 secondary colleges such as the School of Computer Engineering, School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, School of Urban Construction, School of Accounting, School of Business, School of Art and Design, School of Film and Television Media, School of Marxism, and School of General Education, as well as 2 public teaching departments. It also has an Institute of Intelligent Technology, a Huai Army Culture Research Center, 1 national off-campus training base for college students, 1 national vocational education training base, 4 provincial demonstration experimental training centers, and 5 provincial university-enterprise cooperative practice education bases.

学校共设有49个本科专业，涵盖工学、经济学、文学、管理学、艺术学、教育学等6大学科门类。学校全面贯彻党的教育方针，始终坚持党的领导、坚持社会主义办学方向、坚持依法依规办学、坚持教育的公益属性，落实立德树人根本任务，秉承“明德至善、勤学躬行”的校训，营造“包容并蓄、立德树人”的校风、“博学笃教、教书育人”的教风和“励志勤勉、求真正行”的学风。

The university offers 49 undergraduate majors covering 6 disciplines: engineering, economics, literature, management, art, and education. It fully implements the Party's educational policy, adheres to the Party's leadership, the socialist orientation in running schools, law-based school management, and the public welfare nature of education. It fulfills the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, upholds the school motto of "Virtue to Perfection, Diligence in Learning and Practice", and creates a school spirit of "Inclusiveness and Moral Education", a teaching style of "Erudition and Devoted Teaching, Teaching and Educating People", and a learning style of "Aspiration and Diligence, Pursuit of Truth and Practice".
