安徽警官职业学院是2000年6月经安徽省人民政府批准成立的安徽省首批高等专科职业院校之一，由原省司法学校、省警官学校和省政法干部学校合并组建，行政隶属于省司法厅，业务接受省教育厅指导，是全省唯一的司法警官类高职院校。学院分东西两个校区，占地面积394.6亩，现有全日制高职在校生9000余人，同时承担全省司法行政系统万余名干警的警务培训、政治轮训和社会职业技能培训任务。

Anhui Vocational College of Police Officers is one of the first batch of higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province in June 2000. It was established by merging the former Provincial Judicial School, Provincial Police School and Provincial Political and Legal Cadre School. Administratively affiliated to the Provincial Department of Justice and under the professional guidance of the Provincial Department of Education, it is the only judicial police vocational college in the province. The college has two campuses (East and West) covering an area of 394.6 mu, with more than 9,000 full-time vocational college students. It also undertakes the tasks of police training, political rotation training and social vocational skills training for more than 10,000 police officers in the province's judicial administrative system.

学院是首批全国政法干警招录培养体制改革试点院校、司法行政警察招录培养试点院校、全国司法职业教育联盟副理事长单位、安徽省技能型高水平大学建设单位、安徽省“双高计划”学校和试点单位。设有五系一院两部，开设29个高职专业，其中国家级重点建设专业3个、国控专业7个、省级以上重点建设（示范、特色）专业9个、省级高水平高职专业群3个。2022年起与池州学院联合培养知识产权、网络工程专业本科生，教育教学成果显著，获国家级教学成果奖1项，省级教学成果奖特等奖2项、一等奖6项。

The college is one of the first pilot institutions for the reform of the recruitment and training system for political and legal police officers nationwide, a pilot institution for the recruitment and training of judicial administrative police, vice-chairman unit of the National Judicial Vocational Education Alliance, a construction unit for skill-based high-level universities in Anhui Province, and a school and pilot unit of Anhui Province's "Double High Plan". It has five departments, one college and two divisions, offering 29 vocational majors, including 3 national key construction majors, 7 state-controlled majors, 9 provincial-level key construction (demonstration, characteristic) majors, and 3 provincial-level high-level vocational professional groups. Since 2022, it has jointly cultivated undergraduates in Intellectual Property and Network Engineering with Chizhou University, achieving remarkable educational and teaching results, including 1 national teaching achievement award, 2 provincial special prizes and 6 first prizes for teaching achievements.

学院高度重视实践教学与国际交流，建有86个校外实习实训基地和52个校内实训场所，其中国家级财政支持实训基地2个、司法部重点实验室1个。国际交流方面，著名华裔刑事鉴识专家李昌钰博士受聘为名誉教授并多次讲学，德国、韩国、瑞士等多国司法代表团曾来院访问交流，综合办学实力位居全国同行业院校前列。

The college attaches great importance to practical teaching and international exchanges, with 86 off-campus internships and training bases and 52 on-campus training sites, including 2 national financial support training bases and 1 key laboratory of the Ministry of Justice. In terms of international exchanges, Dr. Henry Lee, a famous Chinese-American forensic expert, was appointed as honorary professor and has given lectures many times. Judicial delegations from Germany, South Korea, Switzerland and other countries have visited the college. Its comprehensive school-running strength ranks among the top in similar institutions nationwide.
